Colette had been feeling antsy all day, something which both Tear and Rena noticed immediately. Nevermind she ended up tripping at least three times, all which would have ended in disaster if not for her fellow waitresses being used to her... um, handicap by now. Oh, she felt very relieved when the manager didn't deduct her pay because she dropped two dishes, though. She'd still make up for it with overtime or dressing up in one of his latest uniforms, but he'd told her they could discuss things later. When afternoon finally rolled around, Colette quickly said goodbye to everyone and headed out to meet Cooro.

This would be so much fun! Lloyd had given her a quick tour of the town by now, but Colette could recall maybe a handful of places, including where she worked. That left everywhere else to re-explore, right? Oh, and maybe Cooro would show her his wings, too. If she saw how he did it, her own might decide to come out of hiding! She still really wanted to go flying with him. It sounded amazing to be up in the sky, looking down at everything.

Though... she didn't actually know what Cooro looked like, now that she thought about it! She used to, but somehow forgot when coming back to Memento Eden. Even so, she took one look at the young boy grinning and immediately knew he was waiting for her. "Cooro! Hi!" She waved and approached, an equally sunny smile on her face.

And immediately face-planted to the ground when she tripped over her own two feet. "O-ow.."

W-well, if Cooro already knew her, this wouldn't come as a huge surprise.

"Hi Cole-Ahh!" He stepped forwards to help her out, pretty much by instinct. He was more than used to this, especially after all those times they had flown together. He had never realized it was possible to be clumsy in the air as well as the ground until the first day he had flown with Colette.

"Are you ok?" He asked, helping her up. "You're not hurt, are you?"

Despite having a slight scrape on her arm, Colette felt fine. Embarrassed, if the red cheeks were any indication, but fine! After having settled into her new room with Syaoran, she had proceeded to count all the scrapes and bruises on her body... She couldn't remember where she had gotten half of them, of course, but at least she knew her body was very resilient!

"It's okay, Cooro." She smiled sheepishly and scratched a cheek. "I'm fine! Really." Though one look at her waitress outfit said she'd be washing it later that day, but a quick pat got most of the dust off. "Sorry, I didn't mean to worry you." Lately, she seemed to be in a good habit of doing that, even though she kept trying to change. So she smiled more brightly as if to prove she was indeed okay. "So, where are we going first?"

Well, she looked alright. Nothing ever seemed to hurt her too badly, so Cooro figured that if she said she was fine, she was probably fine. Instead of continuing to worry over her, he decided to instead begin leading the way to their first stop on their super awesome town exploration day.

"Let's go to the market! They sell a lot of cool stuff there, and some places sell really yummy food!" He said happily as he walked. It was not difficult to see what the focus of the trip to the market was going to be. Still, he wasn't lying when he'd said that they had some neat things for sale, so it would still be fun for the pair to check out.

"Okay!" It sounded cool to her. Maybe she could buy something to eat while they looked around! She'd only eaten a light sandwich during her break at work, and the very thought of food got her stomach grumbling a tiny bit.

It didn't take them too long to reach the market; Memento Eden wasn't a massive town, thankfully, so a brisk walk was all it took. Still, Colette felt a little surprised by the number of people bustling around the area, shouting and haggling and trading money for items. Scents of all kinds began wafting in their direction, and her stomach definitely started to make noises then. She giggled a little and turned to Cooro. "Should we get something to eat, first?" It sounded like Cooro wanted to snag something to eat, too.

"Yeah!" Cooro could already smell the pies. The delicious, delicious pies. And the apples. And other fruits and foods and things too, but apples were by far more important. "There's a stall over this way, and they sell really good pies. Wanna get one?" Actually, two might be a better idea, since he tended to inhale any food within reach. Already he was mentally dividing up the pie that they would maybe possibly buy. Maybe if they both just had half of it? Hmmm...

These thoughts pretty much vanished from his mind as he walked up to the stall, eying the foods on display hungrily. "Excuse me, sir! Can I get an apple pie?" He asked, money already out. The man knew him as a fairly regular customer, and handed him the pie in exchange for the cash. Just as he was about to take a bite, Cooro remembered his manners and turned to Colette. "Oh! Do you want to get one, too, or do you wanna share?"

Colette could miss important details sometimes, but even she found it hard to ignore Cooro's obvious love of apples. Though she thought it very cute, actually! When he asked, she quickly shook her head and got out her own money. "No, it's okay! Go ahead, Cooro!" She could pay for herself. Besides, she felt in the mood for something a little less sweet.. hmm.

It took some looking around, but luckily her nose led her towards a vendor selling freshly baked sweet bread. "Oh, excuse me!" She pointed towards the loaf she wanted. "May I have one of these?"

When she returned to Cooro, she had the loaf in her hand, already popping a little piece into her mouth and smiling happily at the taste. "Wow, the food is so good here!" Next time she'd have to go back and ask for the recipe! Maybe Lloyd would like to try it out. Or Zelos! Or Terra, since she was nice enough to bring cookies to her before. The thought of making food for her friends left a warm feeling in the pit of her stomach. Or maybe that was the good food, too.

"Do you want any?" Of course she extended the bread out to her companion, just in case.
