"Ritsuka! Hello!" Tsuna had spotted him off by himself and came over to greet him. Sipping some punch he stood next to the smaller boy and grinned. Events like these still made him horribly nervous but over time he'd grown better at enjoying himself. He nudged Ritsuka lightly with his elbow and continued talking. "This island sure likes to go all out for celebrations, eh?"

"It's been pretty good so far." He'd spent the first bit of the ball dancing with Mist, but the two of them were currently taking a break to catch their breath and talk with friends. Tsuna looked around and pointed at a bamboo plant near them with a few tags hanging on it. "Have you thought of any wishes for Tanabata yet?"

" Probably just the same thing as last year. Health and happiness for friends and family. I figure it can't hurt to ask." He frowned and stared quietly at his drink for a moment before continuing on. "Do you mind me asking what your other wish is or is it personal?"

"I don't think it's selfish. When I first got here I really wanted to see someone familiar again too. I think it's only natural to want to see them again. And if your brother cares about you, he'd probably want to be with you." He could understand why Ritsuka felt that way. Sometimes he felt guilty about being happy his friends were dragged to the island. Though the more memories that returned to him, the more he felt like they were all safer here.

"You're brother sounds like a really great person. I'm a little envious," he joked. Despite all the complaining people seemed to do about their siblings, Tsuna often wished he had one. Some things your parents just aren't right for.

"I came with Mist, but I've seen some other people I know here." His hand made a halfhearted wave to the dance floor. "I think Hibari might have dragged Gokudera-kun here." He was referring to their fellow bomb throwing laundry boy. He wasn't sure if they two of them had spoke much. Gokudera could be fairly distant or short tempered with a lot of people. Hopefully he hadn't said anything rude to Ritsuka.

It was probably better Ritsuka didn't know about the bombs. Or any of the other crazy stuff that happened around Tsuna and his friends. Things were weird enough on this island.

"I suppose. There are a couple things I wouldn't mind getting. I wonder how exactly they plan on distributing everything? Just call us up one at a time and hand it to us? It's all very strange."

"That's true. Though it wouldn't be the first time we woke up to find something strange happened." Another grin. "But I'm sure you'll see an example of that eventually." Or maybe he had all ready. Tsuna was beginning to lose track of when certain stuff had happened on the island.

"Not as much as some. There are a few people who have been here for over two years. Now there are some unlucky guys." He was trying to joke about it, but when he thought about the situation, it didn't sound as playful out loud as it did in his head. Feeling a little dumb, he quickly took another long sip of his punch to try and hide his slightly red face. "Everyone has stories, I'm sure," he added lamely.
