Rating: PG for weird emotional stuff, man! Haha. But seriously, like, you will get offended if you don't like super angst, I guess? :P
Ginko didn't watch the town from just outside of the church that often. It was nice to find a new spot to view the scenery from. He was at peace when he was watching the world go by; that was something that hadn't changed in the last year since he had arrived on the island. Even though the life he lived here was so much more static and purposeful than the life he was regaining memories of, it never felt strange to stop and be nothing more than an observer. Rather, it was something he needed to do every so often, or he'd go crazy.
Or so one would think, he pondered to himself, stubbing his cigarette under his shoe. To be frank he had never really felt like being away from his "normal" life was leaving any kind of negative affect on him. It was simply another stop on the road of life to him. All things had a time and a place. He knew he wouldn't be here forever, no matter how at times he wished he could be. That was how life went; it was a series of meetings and partings.
More than anything he wished, though, that he could see this through. This one thing...
He watched the world go by, and waited for Priscilla to exit the church after her work shift.
