A romantic picnic~!

Jun 25, 2008 11:24

Who: Pearl, possibly Mokona, Maya, Phoenix
Where: A secluded clearing in the park
When: Noon, on a day when Pearl gets Phoenix and Maya to come to the park at the same time.
Warnings: None that I can think of?
Notes: We should establish a posting order of some sort. I'll start and then we'll just see who comments next and so on, I was planning to keep it all in one thread~ Foxfire, I don't know if Mokona wants to come watch or whatever but you're more than welcome to. ^^

Pearl had arrived extra-early to set everything up, in the small meadow that was just the best place for a romantic picnic. There were enough trees and bushes around to provide privacy, but it was still nice and sunny and full of flowers. Perfect~! She had spread out a nice picnic blanket in the middle of the grass, even putting a little vase full of flowers in the middle. The Special Love-Love picnic basket was carefully set right next to the vase.

Finally, when it was just about noon, she took out all the food that she and Mokona had prepared that morning and arranged it. It was risky to do it at the last minute, but if she took it out earlier, it might get eaten by bugs! All the food was in the shape of hearts, just like Mokona had suggested. There were heart-shaped sandwiches, heart-shaped chips, heart-shaped cookies and cakes, and even a fruit salad with all the fruit cut in the shapes of hearts. The paper plates and cups were printed with a little heart pattern, too! The only thing that wasn't heart-shaped was the pink lemonade, but it had heart-shaped ice cubes to put in it at least. She surveyed her handiwork proudly, sighing deeply. It was so romantic! Mokona really had good ideas. Pearl was sure Mr. Nick and Miss Maya would love it! Some bonding time complete with a Special Love-Love picnic was sure to make their love reawaken.

There was a noise that could be footsteps. Pearl jumped, and quickly ran over into a nearby bush, concealing herself between the branches, and peered through the leaves. She had a perfect vantage point to watch everything that went on! There was absolutely no way they would notice her, either -- the bush was pretty thick, and after all, they would be so~ absorbed in love! She gave another little sigh just thinking of it. It was her responsibility to get them back together, and she was sure she was doing a good job!
