Ike emerged from the changing area, towel slung over his left shoulder. Right away he noticed that tonight, for once, he would have company in the hot spring. Though at the moment, Ginko's eyes were closed.

"Hey," Ike said as he entered the water and tossed the towel on the rocks lining the spring. "Didn't expect to see you here."

Ginko opened his eye as he heard the splash of someone else entering the water, and tilted his head off of the rocks a little to nod his greeting. "Good evening to you. I just needed someplace to relax...what with work and all."

As Ike sat down, Ginko grinned as if recalling something amusing. "...'Ikey-poo', was it?"

"I know what you mean," Ike said. "Though I'm always reluctant to give up work to relax, but I've found the springs here help my muscles recover a lot faster."

Ike froze at the reference, hands still on the ledge. "...How did you find out about that?" he asked.

"I do my best to keep tabs on friends," Ginko replied casually, still grinning, "...So, it sounds like this girl was head-over-heels for you."

"That's one way of putting it," Ike said reluctantly. "I've never seen someone take it to such an extreme. She'd chase me around camp and try to pin me down in one place. I had to start sending other people to buy supplies."

"Sounds like a real keeper," Ginko said teasingly, adjusting the soaked towel on his head slightly and relaxing a little more into the warm water. He couldn't help imagining a younger Ike having more than just one girl chasing after him in the market, but could tell that the memory wasn't a pleasant one for his friend, so he decided to leave the subject.

"So, how are you getting along with Anon these days? I hope you've recovered from all that sugar by now..." he offered into the evening air, resting his eyelid closed once again.

"With the clerics' help," Ike replied. "I don't know how his body could handle all the sugar he eats."

He looked up at the sky. "He also seems to have taken a liking to me. I can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing."

Finally Gunter decided to show himself, as he'd stared long enough. He waved to Ginko, grinning, and looking a tiiiiiiiiny bit guilty, especially as he glanced at Ike.

"Heh heh... I'm still trying to figure that out my...self..." Ginko began trailing off mid-reply as Gunter approached.

He's here. He actually came. he thought, eye stuck in a somewhat perplexed position. Gunter didn't seem to be exhibiting any radical behavior yet, though, so the most Ginko did was slowly remove the towel from his head, slowly unfold it, and slowly submerge it under the water to cover up his nether-regions.

"...Gunter, good evening," he said carefully, wondering what Ike had heard/seen of the purple-haired ball of lust. Well, at the very least we've got a patrolman here. Ginko thought with some relief.

Gunter grinned at the welcome, cheeks flushed. He had a bottle of wine in his hand. If he wasn't already drunk, he would be before all was said and done.

"Ginko! It's a lovely evening, isn't it?" he answered cheerily.

Ike eyed the newcomer. It was someone he'd met before, albeit a long time ago. He also noticed the bottle of wine. Hopefully he knew his limits.

"Long time no see," Ike said. "Gunter, right? How goes the swordplay?"

Ginko eyed the bottle of wine as well, a feeling of dread washing over him. He has a hard enough time restraining himself while sober...

He blinked at Ike's greeting. "Ah... You two have met before?" And he doesn't seem very apprehensive about Gunter-- Maybe Gunter has learned to keep it in his pants.

"Months ago," Ike said. "He was looking for someone to help him relearn how to wield a sword rather than simply wait until his memories returned. I haven't seen him since then."

"It's coming along nicely, Ike-san! Thank you~" Gunter answered, sliding into the water.

Or, maybe Ike's too pure-hearted to realize when he's getting hit on... That is also a possibility, Ginko thought to himself, and then decided to shut up his inner dialogue and stop letting the whole thing get to him. He relaxed his shoulders into the water, trying to convince his muscles they didn't need to tense up. Turning his gaze away from Gunter seemed to help this.

"Careful with that wine, Gunter. Too much alcohol doesn't mix well with soaking in water this hot; you could faint, and I'd rather not carry you out," Ginko warned as he lazily propped his hands behind his head.

Gunter slid closer to Ginko and nodded that he understood, though his speech didn't match.

"What, Ginko, do you think I'm heavy or something? Or maybe you're afraid the situation would be too...stimulating...and would thus be embarrassing in front of others?" he purred.
