Who:Road and Allen
When:Um...Backdating like hell, after this thread/post 8D?
What: Road found some cards and goes to play some Egyptian Ratscrew with Allen. And there's some fluffiness ensues.
Notes:It was kinda' left open ended so it isn't technically done done. Be aware another complete one may be made >_>;

Road skipped over from Ed’s to Allen’s. Excited about being able to play with him, overly ecstatic even. She had long forgotten the creepy feeling she had gotten from the deck and ignored the thoughts about it. She halted at his door, smiles all about and knocked on his door in a pattern, out of no reason.
Sitting on the floor, Allen yawned to himself as he stared up at the ceiling. It was sad, but when not doing his job, he didn't have much to occupy him; waiting for events was really all he did these days. One day... He'd have to change that. Glancing up at the sound of the knock he went to answer the door. "Hello?"
Road grinned at Allen when he answered the door, fighting down the urge to tackle him. She tilted her head to answer him.
“Hey Allen~!”
Road pulled up the deck to his eye level.
“Ready to play?”
Something about the cards made Allen's inside squirm slightly. Something about them looked too familiar for his taste. Shaking it off he smiled and nodded. "Sure," he agreed pleasantly.
Road moved to get past Allen and get inside, alight with glee as she searched for a place to set up the cards cause the floor would be a bit uncomfortable.
“Hmm…”
"Eh? Oh... I'm sorry. This room is a bit bare," Allen apologized, looking around for a moment. He kept his side simple, and didn't want to use Sora's things. He quickly pulled out his one chair and a couple of wooden boxes he'd collected for a table and another chair, offering the real chair to Road.
Road blinked as he brought out the items and sat in the chair offered. She looked at the deck and recalled her earlier attempts at shuffling so looked up to Allen and held them out with a embarrassed smile. “Ah could you shuffle them?”
"Sure," Allen smiled. Picking up the cards he was a bit surprised to feel how natural they felt in his hands. To his greater surprise, he started shuffling them like a pro. Obviously cards were not as new to him as he might have thought. As a skill, he hadn't lost his ability to do things, just his personal memories of the games he'd played.
Road blinked at Allen’s skill and quick hands watching him shuffle the cards with slight awe. She watched them go up and down and back and forth and couldn’t quite keep up with the cards symbols like she did when playing with Ed. She rubbed her head at the though of the game actually.
"Er..." he said passing the cards to her. "I think you cut the deck, right?" He looked a bit sheepish at the sudden realization of a skill he didn't even know he had.
Road took the cards back and shrugged off the sudden realization before half nodding and flicking cards between them until they both had half of the deck.
Picking up the cards, Allen didn't look at them quite yet, unsure of the rules of the game. "So how does this work?" he asked pleasantly, careful to try his best to look like the skilless player he had until now thought he was.
Road looked up with a smirk explaining the rules carefully to Allen. For such a simple game like ERS there seemed to be a lot to go over though. “So then, do you understand?” She tilted her head with a smile as she asked him.
Allen nodded. The game sounded like it would be simple to play, though it would be a hard game to not play fairly... Odd how that thought had just popped into his head, huh. Not that it really mattered.
And so the game started on Road’s end and there was probably much time before the two finally got desperate it seemed, and Road slammed down a millisecond too late onto Allen’s hand.
"OW!" Allen cried out as Road's hand slapped down a little too hard on his own. He jerked his hand back and shock in some in pain.
Road jerked back her hand and grabbed it to her chest, eyes widening slightly, a string of ‘I’m sorry’ s rolling in her head, all she really managed was a few stutters, not seeming able to get it out, before she reached out to him hesitantly. “Are you OK?”
Blinking in surprise, Allen realized he honestly worried her. He grinned quickly and held out his red hand where a handprint was starting to show. "Oh don't worry about it, it's fine really," he said as assuringly as he could manage.
Road looked at his hand for a moment before carefully taking it, and rubbing over the mark she had left. She frowned at the mark, yet something in the back of her mind reveled in hurting a person, but another part was appalled at it being Allen she had hurt. Road looked at him questioningly. “Are you sure?”
He smiled down at her sweetly. "Of course. You didn't hit me too hard, it's alright." It actually hurt him a lot more than he was saying, but it was a tolerable pain, and after all, it would go away eventually.
Road didn’t believe him for a second really but the smile almost swayed her a bit, almost. She rubbed a finger over the mark again. She tilted her head to the side, pouting slightly. That bit in the back of her mind that reveled in the pain seemed to seep a bit as she kissed the mark.
Allen's face flushed as she kissed his hand. "Eh?" he said softly, eyes wide. Of course, there was the whole 'kiss it and make it better thing', but it still made Allen feel a little awkward, almost as if there was something beyond that...
Road blinked a bit, a slight tint rising to her own cheeks before she let go of the hand. “Erm…I think we should stop, I don’t think we want to risk me hitting you again.” A small twinge of remorse didn’t truly seem to register over the fluster.
"Eh? It's okay if you want to keep going. It didn't hurt much, really," Allen said. "Though... If you don't want me accidentally hitting you I understand, but I promise to try to hold back if that helps?"
Road shook her head to this. “You shouldn’t be worrying about me, you’re the one hurt,” she paused before cleaning up the cards in the pile they had been playing for, “It’s sweet of you to worry though.” She blinked, didn’t really know where that came from.
"I'm not really hurt," he murmured, frowning some. He didn't want to ruin Road's fun, that wouldn't be fair on his part. A slight tint rose to his cheeks again at what Road said. "No no, not really," he stammered.
Road’s fun was already ended with what she did. Of course she should have been more careful, she learned that from playing with Ed earlier. She looked up at him, and paused before smiling at the blush on his cheeks. “I’d say it was, Allen~.”
His smiled sheepishly at her. He didn't really think so, it was something most people would do, but no matter how he corrected people it never seemed to change their mind.
Road’s worry had passed and been replaced with amusement at Allen’s embarrassment. She leaned closer to him, careful of the cards as not to muss them up and grinned up mischievously at him.
Allen leaned back just slightly, blinking in mild confusion at the expression on her face. "Road?" he said uncertainly, wondering what it was she was planning
Road got as humanly close as possible to him without touching him or knocking him over and licked his lips before pulling back and tilting her head with a grin and giggled a bit.
That did it, Allen's face turned a bright shade of red as his mouth fell open in shock at her actions. "EHHHH?!" he managed to get out.
“Wha~at?” Road asked playfully, suppressing her urge to laugh at him. She moved closer, one hand curling over his injured one. Now she was just messing with him, or maybe it was more, the nagging urge to get close to Allen seemed to take control.
Trying not to jerk his hand away, Allen leaned back as far as he could. "Road, what are you doing?" he asked nervously as he gave her a confused look.
“Well, I’m trying to get close to you, but it’s rather hard when you keep moving away you know,” Road said with a mock pout, her other hand trailing up and playing with his shirt button.
There was only one thing Allen could think of saying at a moment like this... "HEH?!?!" he said a little too loudly, glancing down quickly at what her hand was doing. He wasn't sure what was more shocking her hand movements or her words.
Road’s head moved away and her hand left his shirt be as she heard the loud sound and rubbed her head. “You’re noisy, Allen.” Her hand moved to place her finger to his lips. “Think you can maybe reduce that volume?”
He nodded his head slowly, looking slightly uncomfortable with how this was going down. At least she wasn't playing with the buttons on his shirt now, it had felt very...Awkward to him.
Road moved away her finger and covered the missing space with her lips instead, a brief kiss was what she planned, she knew Allen would probably be too shocked to respond if she stayed too long. Yet she seemed to linger there.
She was right; Allen's body froze up in confusion at what was going on. There were multiple reasons to feel conflicted about this, though his mind hand shut down in shock and his body acted like a deer caught in headlights, tensed up and stock-still.
Road pulled away, forcing herself not to pout, despite the fact she knew Allen never reacted. She sighed and simply moved to sit right in front of him, her hands resting on her legs. “Well…least you taste good.”
Red faced, very red faced. "I don't... I'm sure I don't really. Ehhhh," he finally said after a few seconds of shock. Road and Lavi, they both kept pulling these kinds of stunts. He'd die young of heart problems, wouldn't he?
Road looked back up at him, her yellow eyes blinking at him a few times before smiling sweetly and giggling. “You know, it would be more impressive if your response was coherent.” Road randomly moved her hand up to brush aside some of his white hair.
"I don't taste good," he managed to get out finally. "I mean, I don't think I do?" After what she kept doing, the brushing aside his hair seemed completely innocent, and didn't earn more than a blink from Allen.
Road smiled, just a plain smile. She retreated her hand and licked over her lips.
“Well, I think you do anyways,” She responded, “I don’t think you know if someone knows if they taste good until someone tell them…maybe you should give your opinion for me?” She wasn’t really insinuating a kiss but she sort of hoped for it.
He paused for a second and held his hand to his mouth very briefly licking his lips before nodding. He could still taste where she had kissed him, as awkward as that was. "Yes," he said still red in the face
Road blinked, she hadn’t really expected anything truthfully. She grinned at the ‘yes’, some ort of elation was running through her, maybe a happiness of being accepted? She closed their gap again, hugging him but keeping their mouths away from each other, lest he die of a heart attack or something.
An instant tense up and then relaxing of his muscles occurred as he realized what was going on. He didn't mind this, when Road hugged him, the he always sort of froze for a split second when she did it. That was mostly surprise kicking in.
Road didn’t mind that his surprise made him tense as long as it wasn’t like when she kissed him and he froze up. She buried her head in his shoulder; thinking mostly about how nice this was, being close to Allen.
Allen slowly wrapped one of his arms around her shoulders, holding her in what he felt might be a comforting way. It was odd, he felt he didn't do things like this that often. As much as he liked people, he didn't seem like a very close and personal person like this, and he had to think out his actions.
Road moved her head back, somewhat surprised Allen had actually responded at all. She looked back to him after moving to see his face, a smile creeping up on her. The thoughts kept rolling back to ‘this is nice’. She knew she couldn’t just sit here all day though. She moved to give a very brief kiss before letting go of him again.
