Where it's tattoo time

That's right! I did it! After more than 10 years of threatening to do it, I have finally got myself a tattoo!!! I went today and before I could change my mind or chicken out I was in the chair and the lovely man was drawing on my skin with a needle and ink. And then he was colouring in. And then it was done. It took about 30 minutes and cost £35.

And there it is! I still can't beleive that I actually did it-my shoulder now has that on it. I love it! And already I want another one, this time on my stomach. I am going to get addicted to this. It wasn't painful (falling over hurts more) and when it felt as if my bone was vibrating I couldn't stop laughing! And unlike my bellybutton piercing, I told my parents about this straight away. Do you know what my Dad's first response was?  'Well done'. I had not expected that! And hearing it just makes me miss them even more.

On that picture, the more I look at it, the more fake it looks. But it isn't and that is so cool!!!! I am amazed at myself and quite proud that I didn't listen to my friend.

The really funny thing was that in the reception area, I made friends of the girls before me and it turns out that I am in the same year, the same lecture and the same seminar as one of them. It really is a small world. We had never spoken in Uni and it takes both of us being in a tattoo parlour to get to know each other!

YAY!!!!
