Where I am learning many, many new things!

A blog I read daily is that of the author Deanna Raybourn and yesterday she posted a link to Expert Village and only today did I have time to check it out. And WOW! You must all go:

It is amazing! A lot like youtube but with tutorials videos instead. And they have EVERYTHING. From the normal things you expect tutorials to be about: playing an instrument, learning how to dance, or the best ways to loose weight. And then you realise there is so much more. I just watched a very good and informative tutorial on how to pick locks, tell when you are in labour and install a head gasket (before I didn't even know what one of those things was). I can see myself wasting a lot of time on that site, but at least it won't be mindless-I will be learning something!!

You know what else I did today? I went to the library. I know it's not the most interesting thing ever but, for one thing it wasn't the Uni library, it was a library with fiction books. And even though it is about a mile away and the route hasn't even heard of even ground, there was no way I wasn't going to go. So I went and came back with so many murder mysteries that I will be content for a while.

Ooh, now I know what to do if I child is bitten by a snake. I have far more room in my brain than I need so I am more than happy to fill it will all this information-even though I will never use it.

And I found an excellent spoiler for the new Bond movie today. For all of youo who don't want to know I suggest you don't click on the link. It is a picture showing the fate of one of the character in a very cool homage to one of the old movies. Very nice.

What an end! You feel sorry for the actress, Gemma Aterton.

I am looking forward to that movie. Next week everyone!!

Tomorrow I have NOTHING and I am looking forward to it. It will be fun to go shopping some more, get some more B & J ice cream (while also hoping that somehow the weight stays off) and get my hair cut. That's right everyone the long, up-to-my-bum is about to go. well maybe 2 inches of it!

xoxo
