I did have a day off today and it was so good. I did next to nothing and for once didn't feel as if I should be doing summat. Well I did for a while, but I managed to squash those uninvited feelings down. I finally went on facebook and deleted a whole bunch of 'friends' which felt good. I haven't been on for so long that I have forgotten most of the people that I should really know. And some people I only added in the beginning because I wanted to have more friends. Cousins of cousins have now been scrapped. I never liked them anyway,
I also found another picture of the staff party. Another photo booth one.
I really love this one. Especially the top one in the corner.
And on my internet travels, I found this piece of hilarity. Calvin Kline Jeans have launched a new range called Body.
These jeans have a 'body-defining fit for an enhanced profile.' And do you know what that means? More junk - in - the - trunk for the dudes in our lives. Nice, no? Well actually I am all for it. It's unlikely I am going to jump on every guy I see wearing these jeans (though if they are topless and look like the model then you never know) so I'm not going to have my illusions shattered about the size of his junk. So in that respect if I am going to enjoy myself looking, then it's all good.
Women and girls have always been bombarded with enhancing apparel for centuries. And I know that they only reason one certain bloody annoying someone is paying attention to me now is because I was wearing a certain figure hugging dress at the staff party. With a hugely padded bra. And whan I say padded I mean padded.
So if designers are going play on men's vanity or lack thereof, we are going to enter a whole new wave of metrosexuality. Amongst guyliner and mandation, we now have the codpiece. Woohoo. Men, welcome to our world.
Live long and prosper!
xoxo
