Work
Work was really enjoyable today. I made a brand new friend. And he is gay. I have read so many books about all these girls who have gay 'besties' and since I have never had one, this is quite an amazing day. When we say goodbye it is as if we are parting forever. Our goodbyes are long and loud and (for me at least) hilarious.
Actually I think he is gay, sinced I didn't ask him. I don't really care but it is so nice to click so well with someone. Actually the people at The Eye are really nice. All helpful and friendly. It makes the day go faster. Tomorrow I am working from 12 till 8 in the evening. I just hope I can survive that. And that isn't even the latest shift. Next week I am working from 2.30 until 10.30 in the night! How will I survive that? Since after I have to train it back.
Which brings me onto soemthing else. I spent £140 today. And do you know what on? A monthly oyster card so that I can travel on the tube. Fuck. £140! I made a £30 saving on my travel cost but still. I am so glad that I am earning money.
On Sunday it is the Swimming World Championships! I can't wait to see Michael Phelps again! And go Rebecca Adlington! Which bring me to another random thought - I miss swimming.
