The Proposal

I finally saw it!! And as you all know, I went with very high expectations and hopes. Thankfully (even though I am easy to please movie-wise) I had a brilliant time. It was funny and touching and an actual romantic comedy that I thoroughly enjoyed. The cinema was completely packed and every joke had almost everyone in very loud laughter.

And I was extremely impressed that the jokes were kinda adult. I had seen the trailer (obviously) but thankfully they didn't put everything good in them. I loved every minute.

Sandra Bullock is a comic god. Her timing is perfect and her acting was brilliant (there is one scene in the wood where she is 'dancing' and singing about balls and arses). Ryan Reynolds was hott, so hott, but even he had really good comic timing. I knew he was funny and could do action from Wolverine and Blade III but I didn't know if he could be the lead in a romantic comedy. He was brilliant. And when he was naked it was lovely

But the woman who stole the show was Betty White. I love Betty White. I love the Golden Girls. I love her as Gammy. And I love Ramone. For all of you who have seen this movie, I have never know a man to be so ... talented.

The only problem with this movie was Ryan Reynolds' character's ex girlfriend, Gert. She was there, she spoke and then she left. There was no point to her being there.

Probably because I am on a high I am going to give this movie 8/10.
