you light up my life
This is probably the most productive thing I've done this whole summer break.
Unfortunately, I took this picture with my phone, so it doesn't do the lamp any justice.
It was originally black, and I decided to spray paint it green so that it would match my room.
I've never felt so proud of something that I've decorated since Grade 9 Art with Santoro.
Mama Dukes suggested cutting one of my leis so that I can wrap it around the spine.
I was honestly so hesitant to do so, not because I didn't think it would look nice, but because I hate the thought of ruining my hula gear - somewhat like getting a haircut.
Whatevs, I give her props for her input because the bottom did look a bit bare.
