Scored free tickets to a play from a Freecycler who took our old bed, knew nothing about it. It turned out to be amazing.
You should go see The Brothers Size at Seattle Rep. The most minimalist staging & props (Tires. That's it. Tires. And concrete). Three actors. Interpersonal complexity, social commentary. Tears. Had a lump in my throat through two thirds of it. Seriously funny, and just as painful. Feel like I learned some things I hadn't understood before, about being a black man in America, about having a brother, about being human.
Had to hurry our dinner at Mashiko a little more than does the place justice to get to the show on time, but I think it was worth it.
Go see it.
