Colony Collapse Disorder in honeybees is beginning to affect the food supply, as farmers are forced to take into account a shortage of pollinators. Since pesticides on crops are a highly probable contributor to colony collapse disorder, this is another way our current food system has hidden costs that render it unsustainable. Ack.
