You should check out my friend Bill's website too. I don't remember whether you met Bill when you visited lo these many years ago, but he's a member of my SCA household of origin, and a Laurel. He does both historical recreations and modern work.

I think I did? He was making big swords with bronze counterbalances that he'd cut from a ship driveshaft? Anything from before Oct 2001 is very, very blurry.
There are some spectacular copper pieces there, and his anticlastic/foldform pieces are beautiful. Envy, envy.
