Job?
Sooo. I have a job offer. And I have to tell them yes or no by tomorrow morning. What do y'all think about this:
At the U
Salary: $40,000
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Pharmacy (about $40/mo total for all), plus discounts at places like the YMCA
School-related benefits: Tuition covered for up to 6 graduate/10 undergrad credits per quarter (I'm responsible for books, lab fees, etc.).
Vacation: 13 days per year paid
Sick leave: 13 days per year paid
Only con I can see is that I have to pay for transportation to and from the campus, either by paying monthly for parking garage space or by paying Metro Transit for monthly bus passes.
