[Claire had never been good at gift-giving. She put too much thought into it and ended up stressing herself out over it, afraid that they wouldn't like her gift, which sort of defeated the whole purpose. So she settled on baking things, because just about everyone loved delicious homemade treats.

She baked some cutout cookies, frosted them up and decorated them almost meticulously, and put them in a paper box, tied with a ribbon. After cleaning up, she decided to visit Ishida so she could give them to him, taking a deep breath before knocking on his door.]
