Everett knocks on Sarah's door, trussed up in his dress uniform. He'd just been promoted to colonel, after all, and come straight from the ceremony.

Everett checks his watch, hoping 10am wasn't too early...

And it turns out it was. "Oh, god, Sarah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you."

He's dressed in his blue Air Force dress uniform, and there's a new insignia on his collar.

"Oh, I've just come from work." He says, shifting a bit. "They've promoted me. I'm a colonel now. My own command."

He coughs. "So, while I was in the neighbourhood, I thought I'd swing by and say hi."
