The Master lounged in an inner chamber of his palace, resting on a large sofa, covered with the softest cushions. A nearby table held food and wine. Several smaller coaches and chaise lounges were scattered around the brightly lit room, which was tastefully decorated in rich fabrics and artworks.
Beside him on the coach was the Doctor's fifth incarnation, who was nestled contentedly against the Master, reading a book. All of the Doctor's incarnations were present, occupying the rest of the furniture and idling away this quiet afternoon. Finally, everything the Master wanted was his. He occupied a position of vast power in the universe and, even better, he had his Doctor, all of him, to share it with.

Philip smiled, as he walked through the small house. He'd just gotten home, and no one else was there yet, but they'd be home soon. His parents, his siblings... The cat rubbed up against his leg, and he reached down to pet him.

Philip blinks at his partner best friend/senpai from school. "Shoutaro? What are you talking about?" Philip was peering in the fridge. "Oh, hey, looks like Mom prepped plenty. You staying for dinner?"

[Looking at Mikku there... And takes out a strange belt, wrapping it around the cat.] Ne, Philip, did you know? Apparently, if this belt and a special type of USB drive are worn together, something interesting happens. [Taking out a strange, rib-caged USB drive] The rumors are all over campus. I was able to get the belt from Terui-san, and Oya-san found this strange flash drive in convention. I wonder what will happen.
[The fighting has ended, and there was finally peace - peace for everyone to live and laugh and love and cherish their bonds with the confidence that had been stolen from them every time a loved one died in the battles that had stripped both the land and the people bare for far too long.
Ieyasu is not unaffected by the change, either. Born to and raised within the violence of warfare between the clans, shaped by the heat of battle and tempered with a sense of compassion, he'd brought about the dream he'd held faithful to for so long. Too long. He'd made mistakes - mistakes that had lost men their lives, had lost his people their bonds - but in the end, he'd won.
For everyone including himself, it seemed. The fighting had threatened some of his own bonds, and though he knew them to be the price that had to be paid, there were times when he had feared that he would secure peace for everyone at the cost of everything he held dear. But with his victory had come a true end to the conflict between the clans, and the Emperor was
