[Lexis was quiet as she changed the bandages. You'd really think she'd be used to this by now, but they've never been because of her. Someone going after her, while pregnant. Not to mention she was doing her best not to cry because she was emotional.]

[Guerrero opened the apartment door & walked in. Looking around for her.]

[Oh shit. What was Guerrero doing home? He didn't call, he always calls...and. Fuck. She was screwed. She sighed, admitting defeat, maybe that black eye didn't look so bad now...and the bruises on her wrist and arms faded. No such luck.] In the bedroom.

[He dropped the small bag he always packed tot he side before making his way to the bedroom. When he saw her, Guerrero immediately tensed.]

[Glancing up just briefly she looked back down, she almost went to biting her lip but that would hurt too.] Some guys got me when I came out of the doctor's office...

[He tensed even more as he moved closer, looking over her injuries.]

[There were a lot of winces going on Guerrero and then she ran down through a description of them...and then slid the gun from under the pillow and set it next to her. She took a deep breath, on the verge of breaking down, speaking in a shaky voice.] They're taken care of.

[Obviously she's never shot someone before, let alone kill them] The really tall one got away though. I just...[And now have a sobbing mess of a girl.]

[His expression changed when he realised what must have happened. When she started sobbing, Guerrero wasn't sure what to do. He moved closer & crouched down.]

I was just...I don't know and then there was all this screaming and the guy talking in..whatever language it was, I don't know I couldn't make it out. I thought it was just a really bad dream.

[Calm down. Right. Breathe Lexis. Breathe. Taking a few deep breathes, she tried remembering, but shook her head.] I don't know. I think it was Russian, it wasn't French, I know that. And it wasn't Spanish. It had to be Russian, they said da a few times, I don't know any other language that uses that.

They're probably just some people that mug people for money. Right? I'm not important..
