[Sean isn't much of a winter person, but he does love this time of year. Firstly, the streets and everything else is blanketed with white and looks quite pretty, but it's not too cold to go for a walk away from the mansion for once. And secondly, they way they're bundled up in coats means that Banshee can touch Rogue without worrying about skin contact and thus, not worry about dying.
So he's walking with Rogue down the street with his arm looped around hers.]
I'm glad the Prof gave us the day off before the real bad weather starts.
[She's absolutely freezing, chilled to the bone despite the fact she was quite layered. The girl was from Mississippi. It just did not get that cold down there. Marie huddled into him, pressing her face to his scarf.
She had to admit this was awfully romantic even with the risk of hypthermia.]
[Sean couldn't help but chuckle. His Irish blood was hardwired for less than desirable whether, so the cold didn't bother him as much. Still, he decided it wouldn't be so romantic if she froze to death so he steered them towards a nearby coffee shop.]
Maybe professor Monroe had something to do with that?
[CONTINUITY? WHAT'S THAT!?]
You're really not used to this kind of weather, huh?

"Hahah, look at that!" And the Doctor throws his arms out of the TARDIS to the wonderfully tyrant like blizzard that blinds the very view. "A snow storm! Love snow storms. All sorts of fun things you can do in a snow storm...try and build a fort, take a quick walk, blind snowball fights! The things you can do in a snow storm." He sounds far too excited or energetic, a giddy kid kind of excited, taking the good liberty to stepping out and into the beyond. And here they were supposed to go to Rio for real this time.
His mood is surprisingly infectious. Amy has a look of amusements washing hi despite the cold thst bites at her legs. "So long as we don't end up in ponchos again." She smirked remembering the last time they were that cold.
"What's wrong with a poncho, eh? Keeps you warm! And lively!" The Doctor, childishly, crouches down to scoop up a pile of snow, getting back to his feet with a grin. "Millions and millions of light years from earth, thousands of years in the future...and you still have snow. Wonderful, fantastic---snow!" And with that he tosses a good sized snow ball, perfect in shape and density, towards Amy.
[ Charles should never have encouraged the students to go outside in the first place, not when the weather was supposed to pick up, blinding and harsh and sooner or later he'd be busy catering to everyone's whims. Of course, Charles would never frown upon anything that could potentially be turned into an educational exercise either, not with the way Havok had decided to pelt Erik from behind a tree as he was walking back to the mansion, leaving Erik absolutely no choice but to retaliate, because Charles was Charles and refused to interfere on anyone's behalf.
What attempts Erik had made ended fairly badly after Alex stepped up his game to essentially blast out a snowball, causing it to explode in midair. ]
[It seemed sides were being taken. Alex had Sean and poor Erik was fending off both teens on his own. Well he was actually doing a good job of it. Except for the exploding snow.
Taking up a position behind a tree a few feet back from him, the blonde shapeshifter started hurling her own ammunition at the boys.]
[ In retrospect, cornering Erik in weather like this was actually an effective strategy, though he'd never admit it, least of all to anyone's face. And most definitely not in front of Alex. |: He had crouched down behind another tree -- the one good thing about the Xavier mansion -- when he spotted Raven joining in. ]
You couldn't have stopped them earlier?
[ He's not disappointed in the slightest though, it's a nice respite from the seriousness he usually enveloped himself in and truth be told his snowball making wasn't all that shabby. ]
