[Normally, Sephiroth wouldn't even think of sleeping deeply around Genesis. Their 'friendship' always worked more like heated rivalry, after all. It didn't really lend to the level of trust that would allow Sephiroth to really drop his guard.
But last night was not exactly 'normally', and for whatever reason, Sephiroth hadn't woken up just yet.]
[Nor did Genesis but for some reason that rivalry turned into a night of heated passion and, as she shifted against Sephiroth's hard body, she groaned softly. Her inner thighs and hips were developing bruises. Blearily, she opened her eyes and promptly cursed softly.
Genesis rolled to her back with another groan, rubbing her face. How the hell did this happen?]

[The demand wasn't really necessary; the curse, quiet as it was, was still enough to stir him. He echoed her groan as his eyes opened much more slowly than was usual for him.
Sifting through recent memories for an explanation of why he was having difficulty waking up properly was both helpful and.... very NOT helpful.]
[He's always been well aware of that. Sephiroth stretched slowly, testing his body and cataloging the new set of aches and pains. The burning stripes along his back triggered a memory that Genesis scratched. Somehow he wasn't surprised.]
Everything I do, I do well. [And the egotistical banter is sufficiently familiar and comfortable that Sephiroth returns the smirk.]
[Oh yes, those scratches. Well, she had to admit, you hit the right spot~. Your back was just the nearest thing she could grab. And claw.]
Of course you do. But as your social skills still need improvement, it was only fair for me to be surprised that your skills in bed were more than superb~.
[She felt so good, despite her aches. Perhaps that sex was something they both needed.]
[It wasn't as if he'd minded. They'd heal quickly enough even if he didn't bother Curing them.]
Human anatomy is much simpler than social interaction.
[Even he couldn't argue the point about his social skills. He reserved lies that big for ShinRa politics. And perhaps it was something they'd needed. He wasn't sure he even remembered the last time he'd felt this relaxed. Especially in a room with Genesis.]
[She couldn't resist leaning forward to give him a playful kiss.]
Actions speak louder than words.
[Then again, she had been loud last night...~ But in any case, it had been awhile since they were in a room together and not fighting. Who knew a night of hard sex was what they'd needed?]

[Genesis moaning was an unexpectedly pleasant sound. He let go of her hair, strong fingers stroking firmly along bare skin instead. No more talking was fine; he'd see what other sounds he could get her to make instead.
Admittedly, for all his brilliance, Sephiroth had his less than stellar moments. In his defense, less blood was reaching his brain than usual at the moment.]
[His stroking had her spine arching into him, breasts pressed against his chest as she purred softly into his mouth. Despite the aches and bruises, she was becoming excited once more over the potential rolling in the sheets again. After all, despite their spotty memory, she remembered enough to know that she will have a fantastic morning.]

[The soft curves of her body were an interesting contrast to how strong he knew she really was. She seemed almost delicate but he didn't have to be careful with her. His hand slid down further to pull her hips against his, letting her feel that she wasn't the only one interested in the idea of a second round. He bit down on her lip before sliding his tongue over it. He was never late to work. They could do without him for one morning.]

[It was the one misconception about Genesis, no matter how many people knew of her true power. Her body just seemed to scream delicate and frail. Her bark was worse than her bite. Things like that. Until anyone ever got into a duel and realized that she could, and would, always back up those words.
She gasped in Sephiroth's mouth, a low groan leaving her when she felt his hardening shaft press into her belly, her legs automatically straddling his thighs. Her elbows rested next to his head, fingers threading through the silver hair when he bit her lip, her own lips worrying over his upper lip as his tongue swiped her lower lip.]
