dfgdhjyk do you know I am so amused by this. I wrote something about how they have similarities, in Shiro's eyes, and the comments do...resemble each other. What is this even. She originally spoke to Genkaku about him before actually meeting him, and had this ideal image that he was a manly man and the exact opposite of Genkaku - as most romances consisted of such a coupling, and from the way the Super Monk spoke of it, theirs was indeed a grand (violent) romance. Perhaps some sort of princely figure, she even dreamed.
But then they met. And spoke. And he called her flat chested.
...
He's a disagreeable character in her book; rude, cruel, and sharp with his words. Whenever she thinks about him, she still remembers the few times he's called her breasts small, called her a bitch in French, or else laughed at her expense at some joke or insult or another.
Initially, I'm quite sure she bounced between vehement dislike, hatred and apathy when it came to him, often angry with his remarks or disgusted by his smoking (and the fact he didn't wash his hair). He was thus labeled a jerk - that one spot between 'fiend' and 'asshole', where the words 'ugh' and 'stay away from me' are ( ... )
