[OOC: Hi, I’ve seen you around and I think Masaomi is cute :P. This girl here is quite flirty (and she’s 22) but I know he’s just 16 so please rest easy that I’m not going for smut here, even though she will act a bit naughty... Feel free to ignore this, though, if not interested.]
Camille sat cross-legged at the foot of her bed and looked at the boy sleeping on it. They had met just last night. He had been sitting at a bus stop, having missed the last bus and didn’t have enough money to pay for a taxi. She lived close by and had offered to put him up for the night.
Poor boy had been so tired he’d fallen asleep on Camille’s bed almost immediately. She slept on the couch, it was all perfectly chaste. Come morning she felt a little mischievous and decided to play a prank on him. Oh, it was all in good humor, and she did feel some remorse for her actions.
In any case, she tied his hands to the bed post with a yellow scarf he’d been wearing. The knot was quite loose, though, so with some effort he would have been able to wiggle his hands free on his own.
He was sure to wake up soon, what with the scent of coffee lingering in the room.
((OOC: Naughtiness and teasing is all very welcome. 8D ))
Talk about getting lucky! ... Well, not that kind of lucky, but Masaomi wasn't complaining. It wasn't every day he got invited to a cute girl's house to sleep over! He hadn't meant to fall asleep on her bed, but it had been a long day, and she'd left the room for a second, and he'd made the mistake of lying down. Yeah. Asking for it, really.
Mmm, something smelled good... Slowly waking up, Masaomi moaned softly and tried to stretch - except that he couldn't. That had him wake up a little faster, opening his eyes and pulling at his hands, not too hard just yet. What was -...? At least he knew where he was, still.
My dear?! OK, Masaomi was officially getting a bit nervous.
"Snug as a bug in a -..." He twisted his head to look up at where his hands were tied. "... yellow scarf." His own scarf. It would be funny if he wasn't, you know... sort of tied up right now. And definitely nervous, though not entirely in a bad way. He was wriggling a bit, trying to get free without putting too much effort in. That might make it obvious what he was doing, after all - and he was the King of Subtle. Or maybe not.
"You didn't tell me you were a stalker with Misery tendencies!" All the awkward smiling. It was a joke! God, he hoped it could legitimately count as a joke...
"Stalker? Me? Nooo, never. I'm just the girl next door."
She moved closer now, to sit on her knees right next to Masaomi. 'Snug as a bug' or 'cute as a bug', he was both those things.
"You're not comfortable?" She frowned her eyebrows. "It helps if you don't try to fight back, you know. Just... lie there and relax. Can I get you some breakfast?"
Well, it was kind of awkward to try and escape while she was watching. From, like, inches away. Relaxing, huh? Yeah, that was a fantastic idea. He was trying. It didn't make him any less nervous to be lying there and have her be so close. Funny... He never had a problem being this close to girls when he wasn't tied up.
Maybe problem wasn't the word for it, but...
"Ah... I'd rather eat my own food, thanks. I mean: you don't have to feed me."
Which was a not so subtle way to ask her to release him.
Ah, but she felt bad now. He had been a little bit flirty last night (well, for about ten minutes before falling asleep), and Camille had thought he'd be up to this kind of prank, but really... He was young, wasn't he?
"I'm sorry." She reached up to untie him and moved away from the bed.
He didn't mind. Not really. But being out of control was still just a little terrifying, even if it was a little exciting, too. Maybe a little too much of both. It would have been embarrassing if she'd touched him and he'd... well... reacted.
So! Altogether better this way, right? Right...
"No, no... It would take more than that to scar me!" The relief was practically a physical thing as he sat up and felt capable of being himself again. Or... who he pretended to be, anyway. His grin was big, and his posture was practically relaxed as he let out a deep breath. "Now... you said something about food?"
She smiles at his grin. Huh, Camille was relieved, too. She definitely wouldn't want to get in any real trouble for tying him up.
"Breakfast, yes. Right this way, young man. Do you drink coffee? I have fruit juice as well, if you don't." She gestures towards the kitchen nook with a small round table and a few chairs. She's decorated the area so that it resembles a French cafe. There's toast and cheese and bananas. Of course she didn't expect anyone to sleep over so she only has things she likes to eat. Hopefully Masaomi doesn't have some weird diet.
Oh, she'd never have gotten in trouble. It would've all been worth a laugh in the end, either way - but Masaomi was a weird combination of worldliness and innocence, maturity and childishness. With the near-constant act he put on, it was often hard to tell where the boundaries of each were, too.
"Coffee's good!" Because he was totally mature like that, too. (No, actually, he rarely drank it - but he didn't mind it.) "But I wouldn't mind some juice on the side!"
"Oh yeah, I slept like a log." Clearly - or she wouldn't have been able to tie him up like that! It was a nice bed, too... Looking around the kitchen nook, he sort of liked the decor. And the food was absolutely fine! He wasn't a fussy eater. "French, is it? Are you French?" That was a French name, right, Camille?
"Alright." Coffee's ready, she just needs to get that juice from fridge. Then she fills Masaomi's cup but only half way, just in case he wants to add a lot of milk.
"Ahah, no I'm not French. I don't know why my parents chose a name like that. I didn't even realize it was particularly French. Hmm, should ask, I guess."
She puts two pieces of bread in the toaster and sits down.
"I've been to Paris once, though. I bought a raffle ticket and won a 5-day holiday there last summer. That's how I got the idea of decorating with a French theme. It might be a bit cheesy, but I like it."
And add a lot of milk, he does. Sugar, too. Even if he's not a regular coffee drinker, at times like this, it sure makes for a nice start of the day. Between that, the cold juice, and the smell of the bread in the toaster - not to mention the wonderful company, of course - he's having a great time.
"Lucky you!" He sips at his coffee, every bit as comfortable as if he lived here. "Not cheesy at all! I like it." Mmm, coffee... "It suits you." Big smile.
As soon as the slices of bread pop out of the toaster she adds new ones. She's the same way with her coffee: lots of sugar and milk. Masaomi seems relaxed by now, if that huge smile was anything to go by. Was he actually attempting to flirt now? Camille grins.
"Does 'Masaomi' mean something? I've always thought that Asian names are more descriptive than Western ones? I might be wrong, of course."
He definitely is relaxed - and flirting. Always flirting. She'd caught him off-guard with the tying up, is all. It's OK; he'll just make up for it by being even more him now.
"Western names mean something too, I'm pretty sure. People just tend to forget the meaning." A small snort. "Guess that's not much different in Japanese... but then you get the meaning from how you write the name. For example!" He raises a finger before lowering it onto an empty spot on the table. "You write my name righteous..." And he draws out the character with his finger. "... and retainer." And the second character. So a 'loyal servant', basically. Could be an awkward name, but it doesn't bother him. It's just a name, after all!
"Yeah, that's kind of what I thought about our names. The meaning is not so clear anymore. Heh, but I let other people worry about that stuff." After all, she hadn't been all that interested in the meaning of her own name by this age.
She munches on the toast while Masaomi explains his name. "Loyal servant, huh?" She winks at him. "Well, that was what I was aiming for a moment ago, but you would have none of it. I was so looking forward to having you as my little servant."
She realizes her comment is a tad too suggestive, so she adds quickly, "Just to clean and cook here, of course."
[OOC: I have to go for now, but can definitely continue tomorrow if you wish.]
"Clean and cook - tied to the bed?" His smirk is almost dirty, except that he doesn't intend it as horribly as it comes out. Hinting tends to be enough, for him.
"Well, it's just a name, is all." He waves a hand dismissively. "I've never been very good at doing what I was told. I'd make a lousy servant!" Except for being ridiculously loyal to the people he cared about. And sort of wanting some kind of guiding force, even as he deliberately rejects any suggestion of such. After all, even being controlled is a form of attention - a very intense form of attention, at that - and getting attention is what Masaomi wants more than anything. Attention is as close to love as he can safely get.
