The OOC Rant PostThe name says it all - this is a place to rant OOCly about things that are bothering you. Maybe it's your character's canon, or maybe it's something else. So don't hold it inside any longer, and rant about it

Why did you bother telling me 'this post was so super fun' and you wanted to create a cr with our characters, then drop me out of nowhere and just start tagging your canon mates? What was the point of that? Thanks for nothing. :C
I think they're talking about the disrespect of the person they unfollowed, perhaps? But on the other hand, it takes two to tango. Instead of unfollowing people, they should have a talk about it with their muse's boyfriend's writer since it sounds like the cheating was not a planned plot point.
It's fucking annoying when someone tags my post, then deletes it five minutes later because I haven't gotten to answering it. Chill the fuck out. I'll get to it soon.
This. Sometimes I post before going to bed, and only reply hours later -- and I lost so many good posts this way. Is this some sort of insecurity of oh-no-my-post-is-not-good-enough, or are people just that impatient? Idgi.:/
You shoved your fandom OFC at my canon character, and assumed they had some sort of CR without even asking me. When my character asked yours who she was, you fucking threw a fit OOCly, and made me look like the bad person. Really? You fucking want people in the fandom to respect you but you do nothing but disrespect all of us. The fandom isn't anti-OC, plenty of us play with fandom OCs, but here's the thing - those muns didn't shove their OCs on us, and assume CR like you did. And deleting your journal in protest only made you look like a bigger fool.
I hate when OCs do that. I play one and I always, always make sure for one it's alright to include them cause some people in fandoms don't like them and then I always ask if they are fine with already existing CR or would like to build it up. Never hurts to ask in most cases either things will be a-okay or they won't.
This. So much this. I've dealt with this and was enjoying not having to deal with it. Except now that OC is back. I hate people who make an OC and have them as an ex or what not of a canon character.
If you have a problem with something someone's doing, try telling them. Maybe they don't know they're pissing you off or doing something that's offensive or that makes you uncomfortable. Getting together with others and snarking about it instead of telling the person isn't going to change that behavior.

People need to learn to talk to each other when they have a problem. Chances are that if you don't like what someone is doing, they'll understand and make changes as needed, or if it's a personal issue(i.e. someone tagging everyone but you) there's a reason for it that doesn't involve the person hating you.
This can all be summed up in one sentence, and I have a Gif for it.

And sometimes we do use our words, and the other person either throws a fit (see above) or says "o-okay, I'll do better, I p-promise," and then they go right the fuck back to the annoying behavior. Which gives me the option of frothing in impotent rage or venting on a rant comm.
Not everyone's like that, anon. Some people honestly don't know they've done something to bug someone until they hear about it after it's turned into a giant clusterfuck. I'll always advocate telling someone first. Then, if they want to be a giant douche, bring on the wank.
