Supernatural OC? Also, 8shootsdownstarsNovember 3 2012, 20:24:55 UTC
[It's the full moon. Which means Poor Sammy is all locked away in the Demon Panic Room, because maybe he won't hurt his family but there's no telling what'll happen if they blink and he manages to make it out the door in record time.
But hell, the guy's still gotta eat. So Abi waits until Bobby's got his back turned before sneaking downstairs with a tray full of...whatever she could find, really. Including a pretty rare steak because...wolves like that stuff, right?
She doesn't enter immediately though, opening the slot to peer inside.] Sam?
Abi, Bobby's gonna be unhappy. wolfy_samNovember 3 2012, 20:32:31 UTC
((tis junkyard_hunter and she's in big trouble when Bobby finds out.. XD))
[He's only been a wolf a few weeks, which means he doesn't trust himself to be let out, even if all he does is shift and pace the length of the room for three days. His skin itches and crawls, he can sense the moon, still hours away.
Sam's head lifts at the sound of footsteps on the stairs. He's starting to recognize scents and he's pretty sure that's not Bobby or his brother.] Hey Abi.
[Then he smells the food and ohgod. It smells so good.]
Psh, just 'cause the boys are scared of Bobby doesn't mean Abi is.shootsdownstarsNovember 3 2012, 20:36:07 UTC
((Yeah, you heard me, Bobby!))
I brought food...obviously. [She can see the look on his face and she knows he smells it. Wolfy senses and all.]
Do you want me to bring it in? Or I can sit it out here and let you grab it yourself... [She's not afraid of Sam. He didn't attack Dean, or Bobby and even though she'd been at work that night, he didn't attack her either when she got back. But she knows Sam doesn't trust himself and making a wolf uncomfortable on the full moon sounds just about as stupid as it is.]
You are so grounded, young lady. So.Grounded.wolfy_samNovember 4 2012, 02:41:07 UTC
[Sam sits down, trying to breathe through the prickle of power along his skin. Dean can't be around while he shifts and he knows there's only so much Bobby can take before they both have to leave and let him face the panic room alone. He's more grateful for the company than the food, honestly.
He wouldn't hurt any of them. His wolf recognizes the three of them as pack, as family. But Sam isn't ready to take that next dangerous step of having someone open the door.
The last time someone opened that door, very bad things had happened.]
Whateva whateva I do what I wantshootsdownstarsNovember 4 2012, 02:44:12 UTC
Yeah, of course. [Abi slides the food in like she's instructed before grabbing a table out of the corner and dragging it over. If she sits it over the devils trap in front of the door and sits on top of it, she's eye level with the little window.]
Tsk. Such sass. Wonder where she got it from??wolfy_samNovember 4 2012, 02:53:51 UTC
[Sam's shucked off his shirt, he knows the shift is coming and really doesn't want to wreck another one. Once was enough, thanks. The cool air also helps him stay centered, focused for a little bit longer. He smiles, leaning his head against the wall.]
I'm all right. A little jumpy.
[He's jittery before the shift, but as long as Abi's on that side of the door and the tranquilizer gun is close at hand, he can breathe a little easier.]
Probably so. He does have a Type.wolfy_samNovember 4 2012, 03:06:30 UTC
[Sam laughs, reaching for the roast beef sandwich.] I was trying to talk Bobby into some books but he nixed that right off the bat. Maybe some music or an audio book? Hearing a voice helps.
[The sandwich is gone in a few huge bites. No salad, not so close to the full moon. Dean would be proud. Well. If he could look at Sam without looking heartsick or guilty.]
Not long. Twenty minutes maybe. I can tell it's coming.
Sassy and soon to be dead? At least we know where Sam got it from.shootsdownstarsNovember 4 2012, 03:18:21 UTC
Why no books? [What's he going to do with a bunch of paper?]
I'll pick up some stuff tomorrow. And I'll sit with you tonight, my sleep schedule's all out of whack with this new bartending thing anyway. [She'd rather be at the library, but until some space opens up there, bartending is just as well.]
It's contagiouswolfy_samNovember 4 2012, 03:35:20 UTC
You know how protective he is of his books. I think he's afraid I'm going to shred them. [His smile is wry as he downs a bottle of water.] Not like I can turn pages with my paws anyway.
[Sam fiddles with the bottle, grateful that she's volunteering. It helps make the prospect of three days locked in the panic room less lonely.] Thanks. I'd like that.
Yeah. Yeah it hurts. I'm learning not to fight it, so it helps.
You probably wouldn't have much interest in reading once you've turned anyway. We should probably invest in some chew toys for that part of the night. [She's teasing, of course.] But you could always get your own books. Just in case you do end up shredding them.
Don't mention it. [She wants to ask if he's scared, but...he's got enough Winchester and Singer in him that she doesn't think he'd ever admit it if he was. At least, not to anyone but Dean.]
That's...good, I guess. It doesn't last long, though, right? The pain, I mean.
[Sam snorts out a laugh.] First person to bring down a frisbee or a plastic steak is going to get pranked into the middle of next week. [Although it would have made him feel a little better. It would mean that they were getting comfortable with the idea of him being.. not human anymore.
Is he scared? Yes. At least for now. He doesn't want to hurt the people closest to him, which is why he goes into self-imposed exile down in the panic room once a month.]
Yeah. The first time I fought it. It hurt like hell. It's a little easier now. Maybe one day it won't hurt at all, I don't know. [He sort of doubts that, but hey, it's something to shoot for, right?]
Prank me. I dare you. [He'd get maybe one whoopee cushion in before Bobby started smacking him on the back of the head and going on about how you're supposed to treat a lady.]
Is it just a full moon thing? Because in movies and stuff....yeah, okay, nevermind, crappy example. Is it just a full moon thing or can you do it whenever you want? [Because she can't imagine someone wanting to do it if it hurt.]
[Sorry Abi, you're family which means you're totally fair game. Sam rubs at his forehead, pushing the tray aside and starting to pace. It's not going to be long now, but talking to Abi helps him focus.] I haven't tried it outside of the full moon yet.
Not until I'm in control. This place isn't exactly the Ritz you know? Don't know if I want to spend any more time in here. At least not yet.
[They'd already determined he was more than a four times removed from an Alpha, which meant he'd be able to shift when he wanted, even survive with animal hearts rather than human ones. But even fourth generation wolves were at risk.]
Well that means the pain goes away eventually, right? No one would do it unless they were forced if it kept hurting. [Logic? Maybe. But it sounds nice, whether it's true or not, so maybe it'll help.]
I'm telling you, Sam, we could deck this place out. Weights, books, wifi, chew toys, kibble. Whole 9 yards. We'll turn it into a wolfy club med.
[You can only see her eyes, Sammy, but just...just try and imagine how wide she's grinning right now.]

You can just slide it inside, thanks.
Can you stick around awhile?

[He'd probably wreck them the first full moon, to be honest, but it's just a thought.]
When do you think it'll happen? Soon?
