( this was just so wrong on so many levels- tony had thought all they wanted was for him to make their missile, but a hesitance and yinsen was translating back to him that part of their deal, also included an additional sex video. Tony may have been in a scandalous affair before but that was only when he was too drunk to consent. And now? Tony hasn't had a single drop of alcohol and he never would agree to this, willingly. Which was why they held him at gunpoint. Literally, the tip of the gun was pressed against the back of his head as tony searched the older man's eyes, frantically in fear because yes, he does make the weapons, but he's never been threatened by one in all his life.)

[Sterling was trying to convince himself that he'd won. His best-friend-cum-nemesis was in jail, he had an iron-clad conviction in one of his first cases for Interpol, and the little band of robin hood heroes were on the run. It should have been cause for celebration. But, it wasn't who he'd wanted in jail. He'd wanted him to flip on his team, wanted to sell them off one by one to whichever country wanted them the most. Sterling might be a mastermind, but on a personal level, he'd lost, and that didn't sit well. He never lost, not in the end game.

Sterling didn't really like most people, but, that figure drew his sharp grey eyes. Not because of porcelain pale skin, or striking stature, but because of an air about the man. Something different that sent a thrill through Sterling in a way he rarely experienced, a catch to his breath. So he slipped over, all sharp eyes and interest, because he couldn't help himself.]

(loki despised losing- to find out that your typical alien invasion hadn't gone quite as planned.. Well, the asgardian would have loved that delicious bit of revenge and in a small way, he had. But the trickster was nowhere near satisfied with the outcome. At the end, he only escaped with his life and not much else. Humiliation to the highest degree and yet.. The devious smile that spread across his face told him that there was always time. Time to plot against thor and the ones who call themselves the avengers. For a god, there was nothing but unlimited time and instead of living it on some faraway uninhabitant planet, the god of mischief decided to spend said waiting on midgard where he was defeated. The memories were still very much freshly bitter in his mind, which was why he nearly hissed at the first human that bothered him. That, and this drink the barman gave him was so weak he couldn't even get satisfaction out of drinking. Without looking at the mortal, he said-)

[Sterling was very accustomed to people being less than thrilled about his company. It made him all but immune to casual brush-offs. He did, however, find those words interesting. Sterling had missed the worst of the whole alien invasion thing, although he had certainly heard about it. Part of him was more than a little disappointed, certain that there would have been a way to turn something like that to his advantage. And he was the sort of person that was always looking for an advantage, for power.]
