( ooc; keep you safe + let's make love. John could be going out with a guy who has been both physically and intimately hurting him. And one night sherlock could choose to make sweet sweet love to him. THE HEALTHY KIND. Sound good?~ )
Sherlock was pacing, and not the normal bored pacing, but a worried sort of pacing. He was concerned about John. Sherlock had been avoiding the mention of John's poorly-covered bruises, and scratch marks; assuming perhaps that it was just some kink he was unaware of. But the marks started getting worse.
However, 'how to confront your flatmate about his abusive relationship' was most certainly in a manual about social interactions that Sherlock had never read. So instead, he is waiting for John to get home.

Whether her assumption was correct or not, Meg Giry had gotten the notion into her head that Monsieur le Fantôme simply never saw anything of the world outside the opera house. And acting on that assumption, she would quite often leave small things for him in Box Five. Items such as staff paper, pens and ink, books she thought he might enjoy (a collection of Byron's works, for example) all found their way into his private box via a very headstrong and oftentimes willful member of the corps de ballet.

After all, with his taste in wine, his repeated indiscretion wouldn't go unnoticed, and the wine cellar isn't likely to move. He's rather a sneaky fellow, but carrying off a cask of wine while someone is watching out for you is quite another thing than carrying off a few francs. Furthermore, what's the use of extorting those idiot managers of their money if he doesn't get out once in a while to spend it

"OH!" The voice catches her off-guard and she spins to face the corner where she thinks he's standing. Trembling fingers clutch at her skirts as she bobs a quick curtsey. "Pardonnez-moi, Monsieur. I was simply..."
Merde! How foolish it sounds to say that she had been about to leave a box of chocolates for him! And to be caught in the midst of said delivery is too embarrassing for words. However, she knows that she's in the wrong for invading such an intimate space, and she immediately assumes a more demure and downcast posture
