Jack rolls his eyes. "Yes your Worship," he says, "you are paying me enough to keep you safe and that's what I'm going to do, not that it's worth it."

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" And she's a senator, not a royal so he'd best drop that worship bullshit or she'll have his pilots license pulled when they land, even if to probably is a fake license.

"Just what you think it means sweetheart," Jack says his hands still flying over the levers and buttons. "If I wasn't getting paid I wouldn't be here. I like being alive."

Jack considers this then nods. "Fine, and for the record yes I do, I was trained on Empire ships if you must know. I can figure out what they are going to do next."

Jack shrugs. "We had a difference of opinion, they wanted me to kill people, I dissagreed."

"They tried to kill me and then tried to wipe my memory that didn't work much either."

"Why not?" Now he's just freaking her out.
