It was for that reason and that reason only that before Dean's motel door was even closed all the way, Castiel was crowding him into it and pressing his lips to Dean's. His brain just wasn't quite caught up past the fact that he'd nearly lost Dean to a stupid mistake that was Castiel's own fault.]
