So, whichever anon suggested contacting LJ Abuse, you were correct. I made a report to the Abuse team and they attempted to contact the memebells mods with about as much success as the rest of us. They got back to me today with their decision and I've been added as the owner of this comm.

The first thing I did was delete all the ads and spam I could find. If I missed any, let me know and I'll zap 'em. The crazy conspiracy theorist was also marked as a spammer, so hopefully that was the last we'll see of them.

I'm going to work on moving all the rules/concerns/etc posts that are linked on the comm profile over to a new mod account (once I make it), just in case the memebellmods account is ever deleted and purged. Other than that, I don't plan to make any significant changes to this comm or how it's run. I know I've made my opinions known on meme frequency and such, but I recognize that my opinion's just one of many (and in the minority), and I'm not willing to impose my ideas on so many others. I really just want things to run smoothly, so meme round ups and deleting spam are my primary goals at the moment.
