hamishforaname : Darling John, you know that I have no intention of replacing him, but I'm so grateful to have a place in your life. You mean the world to me and I can only look forward to our future together. I love you and I cannot wait to be your wife.
mightbeblogging : I think you're quite aware how much I fancy you, despite the age jokes you make. I hope I don't need to convince you further how much I truly care about you, John. I promise that I'm not going anywhere.
flatmatewatson : What an interesting start to our courtship, wouldn't you say? You're a dear, John, and quite a charmer. I don't mind the body parts in the fridge or the fact that Sherlock pretends not to remember my name, you know. I just look forward to spending time with you.
alldosillythngs : Molly! What a fantastic friend you are! You've been nothing but sweet and supportive and open and I should hope that I've returned the favor. Keep your chin up, you lovely lady.
solvescases : I can't thank you enough for your help on my case, Sherlock. I have the utmost respect - and fondness - for you, regardless of how many times you've

[ John might very well be blushing noticeably. Look at what you do to him, Mary. ] You are... absolutely lovely, Mary, and I'm fairly certain I don't deserve you. It's a shame, that, because you're stuck with me whether you like it or not.
Gotta catch 'em all. (Pokejawn)mmorstanApril 10 2012, 02:07:50 UTC
Oh, yes. [She nods, looking very, very somber, though really trying to hide a grin because she sees that blush, John, she sees it.] Quite a shame indeed. I don't know what I'll do.
I think you're doing pretty good so far! xDmightbebloggingApril 10 2012, 02:17:30 UTC
Not much you can do, really - [ He shruggs a shoulder carelessly, his own grin starting to tug at the ends of his lips. ] besides face the cold, hard facts. I'm sure there are worse blokes you could be with. Can't think of any at the moment, mind, but I'm sure one will come to me eventually.
Oh, I'm really getting on. [With a face like his, it is increasingly difficult for Mary not to smile around him. At the same time, she is determined to keep up with the game.]
I suppose we'll just have to settle for each other in the meantime.

Well, you ought to get back to me, then. I'm not getting any younger, after all.

[ He's having a very hard time at not smiling, as well. It's almost become something of a competition between them now. ]

Better than being alone, I suppose. Looks like we'll just have to put up with each other, then.

Well, that will just have to do, won't it. [And before he can retort, she'll just give him a nice kiss instead.]
