[Harvey glanced up and raised a brow.]

Well, forget about the work because this will be a long conversation. I'm pregnant.

I'm pregnant. Three tests confirmed my suspicions and seeing as you're the only man who could possibly be the father, I thought that it just might be important to inform you.

[She huffs, pacing around his office. She's terrified, to be honest, but like hell will she show it.]

I figured we should discuss that.

[She takes a deep breath, turning on him and glaring.]

Are you really planning on just brushing me off for work this time?

[Because seriously, Harvey, she knows you're awful with stuff like compassion, but she's a mentally unstable woman who is now pregnant. She's very, very scared. And fear translates to anger in this situation.]

[He leaned back regarding her a moment. He had his calls held and offered her a seat.] I figured it would give you some time to think.

[She huffs and sits down at the offered seat. Honestly, she half-expected to be brushed off, but she's deeply relieved that he's not ushering her out. She knows the stress and hormones can send her into a psychotic break, and she doesn't want to face that alone.]

I've already thought, and anymore thinking on my own will just make me go insane. [Or more insane.] It felt like the place was choking me.

[In short, Harvey, she felt incredibly alone and scared and you of all people are the only source of comfort she could think to go to. This is a very, very sad situation.]

Would you want to keep the baby?

I... I'm not sure.

[Alice rubs her temples gently.]

I'm not fit to be a mother and I can't imagine what the hormones and such will do to my mind, but at the same time, I don't know if I can bring myself to terminate. [She sighs, looking down at the floor.] Adoption is an option, I suppose, but I feel like you have a right to give your input. It's yours too.

Whatever you choose to do I'm backing you Alice. It's your body.

[That's not very helpful for the decision, Harvey. :< But it's comforting to know she has support whatever she does, no matter how dubious (or non-existent) your emotional support is.
