[Dark wasn't really worried, not his style. The emotion was so rare for him, but still - when his call out to With mentally didn't work, even he got a little antsy. He glanced over at the petite blonde. Seemed calm in a crisis. Good] How're you doing there, cutie?

Uh... I'm okay. [She offers a friendly smile, running a hand through her hair. There's a small bit of worry in the back of her mine, but she's doing her best to keep calm.] You holdin' up alright?

[he watched her, but the hair-push wasn't some nervous action. Maybe a little shy more.. and that amused him. Smirking, he waved away her concern] Who, me? Sure. I never panic.

[I was hoping you'd do this so there could be turnabout. LOL.]

Julien wasn't in the habit of spending the night anywhere but wherever it was he kept his own safe bolt-holes. Wherever he lived when he wasn't wearing the mask (so to speak). But tonight had been a night of being helpful. They'd needed his assistance, but it made for an exhausting night's work. And it was just easier to wordlessly accept Argine's offer of a place to crash for the night there in their headquarters. A couch was as good as a bed when you were this tired anyway.

He hadn't counted on the nightmares.

Turnabout is the best. :P thediamondwoman February 20 2012, 04:52:00 UTC
Nobody ever counts on nightmares.

They're the reason why she's up right now, in spite of the tiring evening they'd had before. Very few people now that after particularly long or bad nights of crimefighting, she has a tendency to dream about the night that began things for her-- the death of her mother.

So she'll probably be trudging through the main area trying to clear her head about when Julien will be having his own nightmares.

And if he didn't wake up, they could both just pretend nothing ever happened. Unfortunately, he jerks awake with a yelp and a knife is in his hand and pointed at her before he even fully becomes aware of his surroundings.
