[Morning sickness is a lie, especially since it comes whenever it feels like. Quinn is camping out in the bathroom that day, figuring it's better than having to walk back and forth. She sends a text to Will, asking him to bring some cracker and warm Sprite when he gets done with work. Once the text is sent, she leans her forehead against the toilet seat and waits.]
[The really good thing about living above your shop is being able to close it down whenever you need to, especially if you need to attend to personal matters. Will doesn't even have to do that today, since Zoe's in as well. He gets the text, tells her he'll be back as soon as he can, and makes his way upstairs. He's already got a two-liter bottle of Sprite on the kitchen counter, it's easy to pour a glass, grab the crackers and head for the bathroom.
He knocks, though, before he enters. He's still got his manners after all.]
I'm here, Quinn. Got your drink and crackers. Can I come in?
[Quinn gives him a grateful look before taking the glass from him. She takes a small sip, gauging if she can take another drink without getting sick. When nothing happens, she takes a bigger drink before looking at him.]
Thank you. I had almost forgotten how horrible this could be.
[He nods, and curls his legs underneath him as he joins Quinn on the floor, reaching out to rub her back soothingly] I never did understand why they called it morning sickness when it could happen anytime. That's a bit misleading.
[His actions and touches cause her to softly shudder. When she was pregnant with Beth, no one touched her like this, or even cared to be near her. It's a nice change.]
True. When I was pregnant with Beth, it came whenever it wanted, and it seems that's going to be the case with this baby, too.
[He feels her shake, and his hand stills, but just for a moment, and then he starts again. Sometimes, the smallest gesture can mean the most.] Looking on the bright side ... at least it won't last through the entire pregnancy? Not that that helps now, of course ...
[Her eyes close and she shifts closer when he continues to run his hand over her. It relaxes her enough so she forgets about her upset stomach.] No, it should be gone in a couple weeks when I hit my second trimester. Of course, the second trimester brings other things...
[With his free hand, he brushes some stray hair away from her face, smiling slightly, albeit a little confused] And what fun does the second trimester bring?
[Quinn softly laughs and leans over to softly kiss his blush.] It's all right. I wasn't saying that in hopes of getting sex from you. I'll survive so don't worry.
[He's very, very red right now. When he's nervous, he rubs the back of his neck, and he's been doing that for the past few minutes] I - uh ... you can. Ask ... if you, well ... need something.
I'll keep that in mind. [She shifts uncomfortably on the cold bathroom floor and laughs a little.] I think I should find a better place to sit. I think I'm done throwing up for now.

Yes, you can come in. I promise not to get sick on you.

It's quite alright if you do. They're just clothes, after all. Not hard to clean. Rough day?

Hormones are at their highest in the second trimester, which means I'll be more...hormonal and want...sex a lot.
