Dubcon meme

This meme is one big bastion of potential triggers, and this is your warning.Whether it gets awkward and painful or if it goes perfectly smooth, generally speaking the basic fundamentals of sex are the same: there are two (or more) attracted parties who both decide to act on that attraction. If there's not attraction involved, there's ( Read more... )

[Sam watches Jase pass another guy, seeing their brief little exchange. His brain is too muddled to really think about it - he could be a friend, but more than likely he was someone relating to Jase's job.

Then Jase looks up at him, and their eyes meet. Sam swallows, his eyes wet, and tears slip down his cheeks when he blinks. He knows how to lip read. Not my problem. It hurts, but it's true. Jase doesn't have to care, he's not his boyfriend or his family - not that his family cares either, and Sam's never had a boyfriend, so he doesn't know how that would go either.

Sam looks away first, wiping his eyes again as a short sob shakes his shoulders, then he has to grip the railing quickly to make sure he doesn't slip. But what if he does slip? It wouldn't make a difference, and no one would care. No one at this party even knows him beyond a couple of people who've bought him before.

Still, his time with Jase had been good. He liked him. He owes him at least a goodbye. He raises one hand and gives him a tiny wave, his face crumpling.]

Thank you. [He mouths silently.] I'll miss you.

[life was tough. It could suck, it could redeem itself.. maybe even be good sometimes. He smiled a little at the wave and thought of Sophia. Two unconnected parts of his life, but she always did have a way of creeping up on him when he least expected.

She would do that - make sure to get the last word in, the last wave. Welcoming him home, wishing him well when he left.

But this goodbye.. it was nothing but a passing. So why did he feel like he had to do something. Like she would say to his don't cry about it Her response would always be so, make it right.

But this wasn't for him to do. It was Sam, his choices. He glanced back a moment, having looked away as he became lost in his thoughts, lips turning up just slightly in acknowledgement. He nodded, got into the car and drove. Not a look back.

But half an hour later, Sam would get a text:

not my problem 'cause it's yours. look me up when you get back sometime. bring coke, i deck you through my door - jase]

[Sam starts to cry when Jase drives away, and he gets off the railing and lands inside, on the floor, where he stays while he covers his eyes and sobs. His head hurts, and he's crashing hard from his high, and he knows when this is over, he'll still have to deal with the world's worst hangover later. And Jase is gone, and somehow that makes everything feel worse.

He's half asleep, still on the balcony floor, when his phone buzzes, and he reaches out groggily and finds a text from Jase. He takes a moment to struggle to sit up, leaning his back against the wall as he reads it. He takes a deep breath when he realizes it's not over, and it isn't a goodbye. It takes him almost twenty minutes to bring himself to send a text back.]

[Jase had reached his own hit across town by the time the text reached him - so his own reply is delayed.

One hour later, he's stretching out his good arm, the other bound shoulder to elbow in bandages - fuckin' tip-offs!

He barely glances down, sees what he could well have guessed coming and smiled, tapping back a quick, short reply as he sat on the edge of the bed -

so what the hell you still doin' there?]
