[They'd been driving for hours. Nina squirmed in her seat and adjusted the straps of her sandals, watching Aerith as she continuously glanced out the windows and back. All that was around for miles, it seemed, was the gas station in the distance. Were they lost?]

Mmh...

[The 12-year-old did not like this one bit. It was supposed to be a quick point A to point B, but for some reason they'd gotten lost. Was it the map's fault? Or maybe the guy they asked for directions was wrong.]

Adventureee!

[Aerith could have sworn she'd followed the directions perfectly - well, when the man had told her 'at the cow pasture make a left' he hadn't specified which cow pasture. There had been many, but she'd gone with her gut and turned at the third.

Also three is a good number. Right?

A part of her wanted to stop at the station for directions, but that would probably just confuse her more. People in this area were a little strange with their directions.Seriously, how is she supposed to know where Granny Mabel lives, much less know to make a right a mile before her house?

Sighing, she gives Nina a reassuring smile.]

So I think we're a little lost. But it's okay! We'll figure this out, and get to where we're going quicker than a chocobo can run!

Mhm! [It's not like they're in danger... They had plenty for lunch and blankets if they even needed to stay the night. But... this isn't exactly their destination eitner.]

[In the meantime the voiceless girl decides to peer out the window. Endless fields of green grass, with an occasional bunny hopping out of the verdant ocean. It reminds her of the time she first left the underground.]

La la la...

[...Where is the map, anyway?]

[The map is currently on Aerith's lap, but it's a little difficult to read while she's trying to pay attention to where they are. She holds it out for Nina, her eyes on the road.]

Can you keep an eye on this? Give me a nudge if you think I need to turn or anything.

[In the distance, she can see lights - quite a few of them actually. Is it a city? Maybe! Or a large farmhouse. Maybe there's more cows.

Being out in the country is a little scary sometimes....or boring. The afternoon is getting late, though, and if she's able to find a house or town she'll definitely ask for directions.]

[Taking the map from the brunette, the little blond takes the map and reads over it... It looks like the right direction, but...]

Mhm.

[A few nudges followed by pointing in a different direction are necessary, but other than that they seem to have reached where the lights are coming from. And Nina sits, dumbfounded.]
