NO BUTS! RAWRR!! MINE! MINE MINE MINEohai_sexyNovember 29 2011, 03:05:13 UTC
[ That's right. Be jealous. Jimmy is smarter then you Sherly, the sooner you realize this the easier it will be. But it's still fun to watch you try and sort things out. You're adorable when you don't understand things. Looking all confused and vacant like that. ]
I know right?
[ He smirks and advances just an itty bitty bit closer because he's seen how awkwardly uncomfortable the detective is with their closeness. You better just get used to it. Jim ain't going no where. And to make matters all the more creep-tastic, he reached a hand into the inside of Sherlock's suit jacket. He's patting around in search of something obviously and smiles, pleased, to pull the phone out from the inside pocket. ]
Ooh~ very nice Sherly. [ Moriarty will turn his back, taking a couple casual strides away as he looks through the phone. The contacts to be exact. ]
I bet Johnny boy is going to notice you're missing. Such a loyal little pet he is, but... frankly I'm tired of sharing. why does he get to hog you all to himself? You text him all the time. [ He turns around to show Sherlock the text log on his own phone. Looks like someone has an unlimited texting plan. ] You never text me! Not. ONCE!
:| oh..okay... Dood, is LJ screwing up for you?deducing_freakNovember 29 2011, 03:32:28 UTC
Wha-? What are you- ?
[There really is no place for him to try and get away to in order to avoid the man's invading touch. Sherlock does try however, a very slight movement of his upper body to shift himself out Jim's reach. But so much that did, because he's already got his hand inside of his jacket. Sherlock doesn't even have to look to know what he's going for. Watching as Jim slips the phone from his pocket. The detective despises that smirk on the man's face.]
So... is that it? [Sherlock lifts his eyes up, looking past the phone and staring straight to Moriarty.] You're jealous..?
Yeah a little. LJ is whacky wtfohai_sexyNovember 29 2011, 03:40:27 UTC
[ Jealous? But that's so CHILDISH! James Moriarty is not jealous. especially not over some silly puppy-eyed doctor. ]
DO I LOOK JEALOUS??!
[ Moriarty slips into a temper tantrum, clutching the phone in his hand tightly enough that his knuckles fade to white and he finally decides to just throw it as hard as his can across the room. ]
WHY?! Why do you insist on wasting your time with such... such an idiot?!
...that a rhetorical question... or would you like for me to actually answer that..?
[Sherlock does manage a smirk though. Something about pushing this maniac's buttons is rewarding to him, in some really weird way. But that little hissy fit there did cause him to jump a little bit. It was instinctual though, seeing as how he had no real control over his limbs save for the faintest little bit of feeling in his fingers and toes.]
John's a doctor... he's far from being considered an idiot.. [Though he may have never really said that to John's face, Sherlock understood that most people didn't quite think with the same logic as he did. With the exception of this madman here in front of him of course.]
..who I decide to keep company with, is of no concern to you...
Give me a break! How many times have you said something to him, only to be met with an utterly blank expression?! Or whenever you explain something, does he ever pitch in with something to add? Something actually worth listening to?? [ Why are you so stupid Sherlock? You're only going to make things worse if you keep surrounding yourself with these morons. Eventually that brilliant genius mind of yours is going to have an aneurysm under all the stress of stupid you expose it to. ]
When was the last time anyone proposed a real challenge to you?
Threadjacking BECAUSE I CAN.mightbebloggingNovember 29 2011, 18:23:15 UTC
[ What's that? The sound of Sherlock's phone ringing from ALL THE WAY across the room? Why yes, I do believe it is. Phone's still working, despite Moriarty's efforts otherwise. John is tired of his texts going ignored, and he's ready to give his favorite detective a piece of his mind.
JOHN! My hero!! *swoooon*deducing_freakNovember 29 2011, 21:42:20 UTC
[Only his eyes would follow the path of the phone as it left Moriarty's hand and hit the cement floor as it skid. Surprisingly, it didn't shatter upon impact. Seems his BlackBerry was a pretty durable model. He is even more surprised when the mobile actually starts to ring. But it's not just his default ringtone, it was the one he had assigned to John's number. The detective's eyes lit up but for a moment.
John Watson had perfect timing.
But Sherlock wouldn't say anything. He would try and hide his reaction, picking his head up as he looked to Jim, the man was probably just as shocked...and no doubt furious.]
how romantic....excuse me while I vomit rainbowsohai_sexyNovember 29 2011, 22:21:42 UTC
Answer Me!
[ But his attention gets distracted too when the smart phone begins to ring. Of course he can't tell that the ringtone has any sort of signifigance, until he geta a look at his captive's reaction. Seeing that little glint of hope in those most perfect blue eyes. So it wasn't difficult at all to guess. And yes, his blood was just BOILING right now. ]
Well....speak of the devil..
[ Jim narrows his eyes, clicking his tongue against the roof of his mouth as he moves over to pick the phone up off the ground. Sure enough. It was the pet. Calling to check in on his master. How infuriating.
So he is going to press the key to accept the call, moving back behind Sherlock as he holds the phone to his ear. Jim moves to the over side, keeping his voice calm with a whisper into his other ear. ]
Don't be shy Sherly, say hello.
But don't you dare tell him what's going on. I don't think you want to drag him into this. This our own personal little affair.
s'alright I'm tagging from my phone lol don't mind meeededucing_freakNovember 29 2011, 23:36:13 UTC
[Sherlock keeps still, even when Moriarty leans in close like that. He fights the urge to cringe away and finally answers after a short pause.]
..John?
[His voice is a little weak at first. Sherlock hs to choose his words carefully.]
Sorry, I'm a little tied up at the moment. Seems a friend of mine has caught me and we're having a bit of bonding time together. [Come on now John, you know he doesn't have any friends.] Oh and one more thing, could you water the flowers for me? [Y'now, flowers. As in THE flowers. The ones he threw out? Surely you remember THOSE flowers.] Hopefully you'll catch up with me later, goodnight.
[Sherlock turns his head away to signal he's done talking. Here's hoping he wasn't too vague for the doctor.]
ARE NOT >:Pohai_sexyNovember 30 2011, 00:25:45 UTC
[ And here is Moriarty oh so casually eavesdropping in on the conversation. He is just being a little nosy, never mind him. It is a little funny to hear that the call was only about how Sherlock was supposedly ignoring his flatmate and not at all because he had suddenly gone missing. Too rich.
But Jimmy is on to those subtle little hints of yours, detective. Don't try to pull anything over on Jim Moriarty. But he'll allow it. Doubtful that poor Johnny dear would be able to catch on. Even if he did, its not like he would be able to find the warehouse.
When that curly head of hair moves away, Jim smiles and kisses the top of the detective's head. ]
Good boy. [ aaaaand BEEP. End call! ] Daddy's so proud of you.
[ He stands up straight, placing the phone into his own pocket as he walks around to the front of his dearest victim. ] Now then.. Where were we....?
Hope you don't mind if this is godmoding! xD I reckon he'll find the warehouse in his next post?mightbebloggingNovember 30 2011, 00:54:57 UTC
[ Unfortunately for Moriarty, John and Sherlock know each other too well. He can already tell something is up by the sound of the consulting detective's voice. His brow furrows as he listens, wanting to cut in, although he quickly realizes listening will benefit him more. Flowers. They don't normally have flowers in the flat. He brought some home once, to 'spruce up' the place a bit, but they didn't last long, quickly falling victim to the fumes from an experiment and dying. ]
Sherlock-! [ But the call has already been dropped. He bites back a curse, shutting his own phone off and pacing in their flat. If Moriarty had Sherlock, then understatement of the year: this couldn't be good. Only problem was, he didn't know where the madman was keeping his flatmate. Hell, it could be anywhere! Next time, be sure to drop a hint to help a bloke figure out where your currently being tortured, Sherlock, thanks.
But then an idea hits him. John turns his phone back on and calls that number - you know, the one that he wouldn't have in his phone if the man hadn't called him under a new number. His old number had been blocked after all. ]
Mycroft, its John. [ A slight frown as he listens, cutting the older Holmes off. ] Yes, I know its late, but trust me, its important. Do me a favor, yeah? Trace Sherlock's phone - can you do that? [ Another beat as he listens. ] What? No, there's no trouble. Its just that... we think he's lost it somewhere, but he's not sure where. Listen, I'll... do whatever you want me to do in return. I'll tell you what he's been up to - that spywork that you wanted of me, yes. [ John let out a breath of relief. ] Yes, thank you Mycroft, you're a bloody saint. You know how he is. Right, bye.
[ Now all he could do was wait and pace. Knowing Mycroft and all his resources, it wouldn't take that long. Of COURSE he would have a special tracking chip or something in Sherlock's phone service/plan. For once, thank GOD for the over-protectiveness. ]
I'm surprised Mycroft wasn't too busy eating cake to answer the phone.....>__>deducing_freakNovember 30 2011, 01:41:12 UTC
[It was a slow going process but Sherlock was slowly regaining some minor sensations in his limbs. Enough that he could notice his skin practically crawling when he felt that odd bit of pressure placed ever so gently on top of his head.]
I think this is the part where you begin to make demands and threaten my life.. [You hear that? That's the voice of sarcasm. Sherlock has the utmost faith in John, the doctor will catch on and figure out a plan. He's a soldier after all. It's only a matter of time.]
Mycroft IS godmodding lol he invented itohai_sexyNovember 30 2011, 02:13:17 UTC
Aww~ Sherly, you're crushing my feelings. Now why would I ever want to kill you? If I wanted you dead I would have made sure of it by now.
But see...I like playing with you too much. Thing is..you never want to play with me. That's all fine though, really, I don't mind going out of way to set this all up for you. [ Jim will gesture with his hands. Look at this awesome warehouse! Isn't it neat?! Don't you like it! YOU LIKE IT RIGHT?! ] All of this. Just for us. You and me.
I think we may have gotten off on the wrong foot. Kidnapping John and all that. I'll admit, wasn't very nice. But I just REALLY wanted to get your attention....
[ He offers what looks like a genuine smile, seemingly innocent enough as he stands in front of the detective. Only using his fingertips, Jim lifts Sherlock's chin up so that he can hold him into a stare. ]
Let's just face facts... We're perfect for each other. We'll be going on like this for a long time.... Why not just give it up? I'm the only one who could ever understand you, I mean really understand..
I haven't had a chance to play bamf!John in a while. mightbebloggingNovember 30 2011, 02:52:07 UTC
[ It took Mycroft less than five minutes to pinpoint Sherlock's exact location. It was all John could do to trick him into not becoming suspicious again. The phone's location was practically in the middle of nowhere. As it were, it might only be a matter of time before the older Holmes brother figured things out and left to do some snooping as well.
John almost left without his gun, but went back for it just in time, before grabbing a cab. The trip was nerve-wracking, of course - and it was all he could do to sit still. It was a warehouse, of course - always a warehouse, middle of nowhere, undisclosed location. Once there, his soldier instincts did kick in. He didn't just barge right in, gun blazing. He was stealthy about it, finding an entrance, sneaking in... and then jumping in surprise when he heard voices.
Moriarty. It hadn't been long enough since he'd last heard it. ]
John needs some badass background music going on right now.deducing_freakNovember 30 2011, 06:07:04 UTC
[Feelings? Yeah right. As if Moriarty had anything akin to feelings, that was down right laughable. But Sherlock will contain himself. Whatever little bit of mobility he has managed to obtain will allow him to suddenly jerk his head away from Jim's reach, shooting a darkened glare up at him response.]
Hmph. Please. You're no different then all the others who've tried to convince me that I'm just like them.
[Makes you think, just how many mortal enemies one man can really have. Seriously though, if that's such a popular consensus, then it might kinda sorta possibly be true. At least a little bit. Not that Sherlock hasn't already considered that as a possibility. Not everyone can be wrong, right?]
