What was your first science fiction? I honestly don't remember, I watched a whole tonnage of such stuff even before I learned to speak. I believe it was Earth vs. the Flying Saucers but I couldn't say for sure.
What was your first anime/manga? Even though I hadn't heard the term at the time, the anime was Starblazers. Not sure about what manga though.
What was your first comic? Got a bunch from my cousins when I was a toddler. What survived to where I can remember were The Legion of Super·Heroes
What was your first fantasy? So far as what I determine to be pure fantasy, I'm leaning towards Pete's Dragon. First I read was likely Dragonriders of Pern series...which I was probably too young to be reading at the time.
What was your first convention?
BayConWhat was your first slash? A bizarre misadventure involving Buffy & Faith during the time of "Beer Bad".
What was your first cyberpunk? Again, didn't know the term at the time but I believe it was the Bubblegum Crisis.
What was your first series? It was either the Chronicles of Narnia or whatever the name of the series that A Wind In the Door was part of.
What was your first steampunk? I didn't see the whole thing, or even much of it, but there's a surreal film called City of Lost Children that just barely qualifies.
