Today is the Day
Today is the day that my friend Liam (aka
banesidhe ) turns 40.
Today is the day that a very special and unique light was brought to this Earth Walk.
Today is the day I celebrate metal and bodyart, Bushmills and Black-n-Whites, and Scrimshaw and Looney Tunes.
Today is the day that I remember the man who taught me that the Light of Christ Consciousness and the Blessed Virgin are not incompatible with the Path of the Old Ways. No, ChristoPagan is NOT an oxymoon, and I've seen the evidence.
Today is te day that I give thanks. Thank you for sharing your day with us, ten years ago. Thank you for taking part in, perhaps, the best vocen experience I'be had. Thank you (and
fimbrethil too) for inviting me to perform the first handfasting I've ever performed - it was not only beautiful, but a milestone day in my life - and it led me to hearken to the Call to Ordination as well.
But most of all, today is the day I give thanks for you. Here's to you,
