Magen David Adom
After 50 years, the International Societies of teh Red C ross and Red Crescent have finally deigned to allow the Magen David Adom (Red Magen David) to be recognized as a part of their organization. 50 years, and pestering by all sorts of public figures, and a multi-million dollar protest (the American Red Cross has withheld something like $45 Million in protest of the exclusion) ahve finally yielded a very low key acquiesence. It's about time, really...On the other hand, I've got to wonder what's changed.
