So many things
Last Monday we drove up to Vermont to visit my sister and stayed until Saturday. And managed to cram a whole bunch of stuff into those four full days. A quick summary, in no particular order ( ... ) -
The sun is shining and the sugar is abundant
Happy Easter! Bill surprised me with a Peep basket this morning, which was quite sweet of him. Unfortunately, he's curled up on the couch right now, feeling terribly sick. I hope he starts feeling better soon - we're supposed to leave for Vermont in the morning. If he's not well, I'm not sure what we'll do. I didn't do a whole lot this weekend - mostly reading and sleeping - though yesterday I was reasonably productive. LASIK recap
LASIK is a pretty basic procedure, and as such it takes almost no time at all to perform. Bill even got to sit outside and watch through a window, and evidently there was also a camera trained on whichever eyeball was being worked on. I think this alone made his day. Why I Eyes Ya
Late Tuesday afternoon I got a call from the LASIK center, saying there had been some cancellations and would I like to reschedule my surgery? So I did. And my surgery is now today. - Went to my LASIK pre-op this morning. They dilated my pupils, which causes a weird blurring of vision and makes me look like a cartoon character.
- The eye doc was quite taken with my right optic nerve, calling it "beautiful" and "so cool". No comment on the left one.

lost keys
It's a good thing I did so much pre-birthday celebrating because I spent much of yesterday evening extremely grumpy. As I was heading down the stairs to my car after work I discovered I couldn't find my keys.
