(no subject)
Things have gone so fast recently. The other weekend I had my bridal shower, got boatloads of goodies! I've already broken out some of my kitchen supplies, as well as the george foreman grill that my mom bought for us. she gave it to me as a bonus shower gift because she didn't want to wait til the wedding to give it to us (mainly jake, he's the one who wanted it)
my sister-in-law is doing swimmingly well with her pregnancy as far as I know. I'm buying little baby stuff here and there just because I can't wait! she's due I think in Nov. which means no hunting for her, but maybe she'll come along just for the relaxation. (!!!)(yes, I'm already looking forward to hunting in Nov)
and the Bestest part of all is that my Brotha! Marty has gotten leave from the army to come home for the wedding! Now, assuming nothing happens before then, he'll be home in about 3 weeks, and he'll be leaving I think the monday after. SQUEEE!!! you have NO idea how excited my mom is. she's left all wedding talk behind and just talks about Marty. I'm not bothered a bit, because I'm uber excited too.
In other, non exciting news, Jake's chair broke, so all of our extra money has to buy something else to sit on this weekend. a couple can't just have one chair. sometimes you need your space, ya know?
the kittens are growing up pretty fast. it's time for them to be declawed. my sister's going to babysit them for the week we're off. it'll be nice not to have to clean a litter box and vaccuum every day.
work's going good. I'm only not liking the traffic, well mainly the amount of gas the traffic eats up, but I suppose it all evens out in the end.
