"ABAJO COMUNISMO!" - Che
I was going to modify my SOSP post and put it up in conservatism with these add-ons now that someone is modding it again, but I'm otherwise occupied. I want to save these links, so here's some stuff on Che, hero of ignorant assholes and dangerous radicals.
Che Guevara: 39 Years of Idolatry
"'Executions?' Che Guevara exclaimed while addressing the hallowed halls of the UN General Assembly December 9, 1964. 'Certainly, we execute!' he declared to the claps and cheers of that August body. 'And we will continue executing (emphasis his) as long as it is necessary! This is a war to the DEATH against the Revolution's enemies!'
According to the Black Book of Communism those firing squad executions had reached around 10,000 by that time. Sloboban Milosevic, by the way, went on trial for allegedly ordering 8,000 executions. The charge against him by the same UN that deliriously applauded Che Guevara's proud proclamation was 'genocide.'
The 'revolutions' enemies' being bound, gagged and murdered by Che and his henchmen were among the most enterprising and valiant fighters of the 20th century. [...]
Most heartbreaking of all, they fought alone and abandoned. They specialized in ripping off their gags and blindfolds to yell 'VIVA CRISTO REY!' or ' VIVA CUBA LIBRE!' or 'ABAJO COMUNISMO!' before the bullets shattered their bodies and the coup de grace from Che's henchman shattered their skulls."

I'm not talking about the ignorant Democrats or the useful idiots who history tells us will be the first to be imprisoned or purged after a revolution and they begin to protest the reality of seeing their theories put into practice. I'm talking about the Progressives, including our Communisty Organizer in Chief, who know exactly what's going on, exactly what Alinsky advocated and Che carried out. They might not be willing to be the one to put the gun to your head, but they'd sure as hell ignore the sound of the shot. People need to wake up to that reality. It can happen here. Our Founders warned us of it and told us how to avoid it.
Think about it for a minute, please. Really think about it. Do you think mental midgets like langostino, scumbags like jblaque, or any of the fanatics running liberal_talk wouldn't pull the trigger? If there really weren't repercussions, if they saw themselves as having the chance to be worshiped as a hero of the cause and treat those evil right wingers who cling to their guns and religion a lesson, how sure are you they wouldn't pull the trigger?
Do you think jennem wouldn't sit up in her office listening to the cries of those being rounded up on the street below and somehow rationalize her way around the occasional loud bang?
I don't. Maybe that's just me.
Sure as shit Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank and, most of all, Barry would happily sign the orders.
