Napolitano’s surprise at AQ “determination,” and other confidence builders "Barack Obama repaired some of the damage done to the confidence in his administration on terrorism with a sharp, no-nonsense statement that finally accepted responsibility for the systemic failure that allowed the EunuchBomber onto Northwest 253 on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, the people he appointed to run the effort did their best to undermine that confidence once again. "
"Unfortunately, Janet Napolitano oversold the serious approach during yesterday’s press conference by apparently admitting that she hadn’t paid much attention to AQ for the past eight years"
"SECRETARY NAPOLITANO: I think, following up on that, not just the determination of al Qaeda and al Qaeda Arabian Peninsula, but the tactic of using an individual to foment an attack, as opposed to a large conspiracy or a multi-person conspiracy such as we saw in 9/11, that is something that affects intelligence. It really emphasizes now the renewed importance on how different intelligence is integrated and analyzed, and threat streams are followed through. And, again, it will impact how we continue to review the need to improve airport security around the world."
Allow me to translate from bureaucratese. "I have no effing clue what I'm doing." It's called a "shoe bomber," have you heard of him Incompentanto?
Barry, Team Teleprompter and this boob are not defending this country. They are all more worried about passing socialized medicine, tracking ice flows, granting illegals amnesty, and cap and trade than in the number one duty of government, protecting the citizens from foreign threats. Get it through your heads, please. They. Do. NOT. Care. About. You.

Why is the State Department getting an UndyBomber pass?
The focus on visa revocation completely (and deliberately) misses the point about who bears responsibility for approving the visa in the first place. And that responsibility rests entirely with U.S. consular officials gambling on our national security. I asked the State Department for more information about the Crotch Bomber’s visa application and approval. The first thing I got back was chapter and verse citing federal law prohibiting disclosure of info"
I'm posting this for two reasons. The first is the surface reason, the article's content.
The second is the reaction to Malkin's request for information. This administration fights transparency of any kind, including ignoring or refusing FOIA requests whenever possible. Recently there has been some buzz about Obama granting Interpol immunity, including from FOIA. The Progressives/Liberals have been laughing and laughing at how silly it is to have any concern. They say all Interpol can do is enlist local law enforcement to carry out tasks. What could be the harm? Well guess what, kids.

That means Rahm Emanuel can place a call to a fellow ruling elite in Interpol in another country, telling them to pick someone up in the United States. The fellow contacts Interpol in the US DOJ. That office issues a warrant for an arrest. They enlist local law enforcement, who obeys because federal authorities told them to. Subject is apprehended and shipped to foreign country. Any objections with local law enforcement get sent up to the federal level. At the federal level the concerned question the DOJ. DOJ says they won't tell them anything. So the concerned file a FOIA request, or they ask a federal judge to investigate. Whoops. Sorry. Interpol has immunity. You don't get to ask why. File a complaint overseas.

4th, 5th, 6th Amendment, gone whenever necessary for enemies of the elite.

It doesn't matter if it can work in theory. All they must do is set up the rules of intimidation and people will stop trying out of fear. Feel free to laugh. This might actually be possible.

And now for something completely different...
‘Terrorism’ Exists Only In Your Mind by Steven Crowder " I still don’t really see how calling the 'War on Terror' to an 'Overseas Contingency Operation' will make us any safer from people hell-bent on our destruction but then again… I’m just silly like that!" Click the link for a new video from Crowder, this one on terrorism.
