Sotomayor and "The Race"
According to her American Bar Association profile of 2000 Sotomayor was a member of the National Council of la raza The Race.
I am correcting National Review's name of the organization, as I will not participate in NCLR propaganda.
It should not EVER be referred to as 'La Raza.' The group is either 'El Consejo Nacional de la Raza' or 'The National Council of The Race.' The deliberate mix of language is for obvious reasons. Every time they are named they should be labeled appropriately. Those who hang out with a group called 'The Race' should be noted. It is not more acceptable because they aren't white.
The National Council of The Race, as most Left wing groups, is quite good at denying their goals and affiliations. You can look into them for yourself. As far as I'm concerned the name speaks for itself, as it would for any Liberal who knew of a white group with that name.
