PC kills. I don't agree with Moonbattery's extreme take on it, but it's well past time this overall issue was addressed, as people are LITERALLY DYING from political correctness.
Homosexuals Are Spreading Deadly Drug-Resistant Bacteria. "They said methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, is beginning to appear outside hospitals in San Francisco, Boston, New York and Los Angeles.
Sexually active gay men in San Francisco are 13 times more likely to be infected than their heterosexual neighbors, the researchers reported in the Annals of Internal Medicine."
Thirteen times!

History has been rewritten to the PC agenda to ignore that HIV WAS transmitted at a much greater frequency through homosexual males during the 80s, spreading it across the country significantly faster. Every time the topic comes up it's in the light of condemning Reagan and Republicans for the lack of response, not the communities who were spreading the disease through their behavior, homosexual males and drug users. And it is STILL HAPPENING:
"In the United States, HIV infection and AIDS have had a tremendous effect on men who have sex with men (MSM). MSM accounted for 71% of all HIV infections among male adults and adolescents in 2005 [snip] even though only about 5% to 7% of male adults and adolescents in the United States identify themselves as MSM."
The NYT did a front page, above-the-fold story falsely painting war veterans as killers based on 121 homicides. Meanwhile, "In the 33 states with long-term, confidential name-based HIV reporting, an estimated 19,620 MSM received a diagnosis of HIV/AIDS." AND, "The number of HIV/AIDS diagnoses among MSM (including MSM who inject drugs) increased 11% from 2001 through 2005," so it's getting worse. While I recognize HIV isn't a certain death sentence, still, why isn't the NYT doing a front page story on this, instead of soldier homicides?
The answer, of course, is we don't talk about homosexual male HIV spread, because that offends liberals, but we do talk about victimized soldiers who become psychotic murderers among us, because that just offends silly red staters and pushes an anti-soldier agenda. That we're talking about .6% of the HIV cases, and homicides aren't infectious, doesn't matter.
Meanwhile, also according to the CDC, "High-risk heterosexual contact was the source of 80% of these newly diagnosed infections" in women. I'm no scientamatist, but this would lead me to think too many women are having sex with bisexual men and drug users. Something to consider, ladies.
Getting back to the original point, an easily transmitted, drug resistant bacteria that killed 19,000 Americans in 2005 is breaking out in the general population and 13 times more likely to appear among homosexuals. How many people must die at the altar of political correctness before this is talked about as widely as it should be?
