Speaking of the "Palestinians"... Here is a heck of a question for the Lefties out there. How is it that we should demand Israel recognize a Palestinian state, while Palestinians won't recognize Israel's permanent existence as a Jewish state? I mean, the Israelis have had a state for a few decades now. Should we really be accepting input from or allowing talks with countries who don't recognize one of the countries is there? Shouldn't, I don't know, the obvious be recognized as a first step in all talks?
P.S. I'm no fan of America's tight embrace of Israel. This is about truth, not the neocon backing of Israel or the PLoD's mindless backing of any enemy of America
