The History Channel Shills For Che Guevara
"The A&E Network recently produced a Biography show on Ernesto "Che" Guevara. Years back they produced one on Senator "Tail-Gunner Joe" McCarthy. The depictions contrast sharply." Guess how they play out.
I was hoping this wouldn't happen to the History Channel, but I imagine Liberal Entropy will eventually hit everything given its current progress. I often wonder, even with the internet, if real history stands the slightest chance against the growing false group think.
In their constant efforts to thwart the military and Bush's war effort, only because it is Bush's, Democrats have tacked on more special legal treatment for crimes against those who prefer the same genitals.
Yes, typical politics. I can't stand riders, amendments, what have you. A bill should be about X and only X.
But this is also typical Democrats. "The amendment, which charges the Justice Department with investigating crimes potentially motivated by sexual orientation" First, bigger government, more taxpayer money, for the purpose of protecting a niche group. Second, creating a government program causes those in the program to find problems even if they don't exist. This will perpetuate the victimhood mentality. While that's exactly what Democrats want, it is good for no one.
Indoctrinating our children, the Globalist Socialist Abortionist Pledge of Allegiance. They didn't do this on their own. The teachers involved should be fired.
“Journalists of color” to question GOP presidential candidates. Of color? Are we back to that now? I thought PCists settled back on "black," after cycling through "of color" and "African-American." It's so hard to keep up. I'm "of color." It's kind of an off tan.
I support this event... right after the whites-only press event. But I would like to say I support those who, "make their case on the issues of concern for people of color." Which journalists are openly biased, placing "their peoples" needs first, is always a handy thing to know.
Recently just-another-race-baiting-Democrat John Edwards said:
"The idea that we’re going to keep incarcerating and keep incarcerating - pretty soon we’re not going to have a young African American male population in America - they’re all gonna be in prison or dead."
I have a question for Mr. Edwards:
Are there more black men in college or in jail?
I bet he gets it wrong. And so will you. But the (THERE IS NO LIBERAL!) media sure won't be giving that a lot of press soon. (Credit to the liberal Washington Post for even printing it.)
The conservatism in Star Trek TOS. I think he missed another good example, though.
City government at work. More than two dozen senior D.C. officials were inappropriately given more than $500,000 in cash bonuses in the waning days of the administration of former Mayor Anthony A. Williams. That money could go to schools, for one. Will the teacher's union protest? Shouldn't they, if teachers are their concern? Will anyone protest?
Newt is not running. This is likely for the best.
