What it actually does is attempt to force kangaroo courts set up by universities to expel any accused, actively discouraging law enforcement involvement. You see, if you are an adult in college you should be able to cry to an unelected tribunal but if you're a waitress you have to go to the police like the other serfs. It is hard to express how much is wrong with all of this.
The core point, though, is 29 United States Senators are comfortable openly denouncing due process of law. If you think Democrats have limits you are kidding yourself.
